The BMW 3 Series GT is finally getting a facelift, catching up to the rest of the 3 Series lineup.
AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers have caught the BMW 3 Series GT facelift testing, following in the footsteps of the sedan and wagon models that were revealed earlier this summer. Just like the rest of the 3 Series family, the GT model gets mostly minor changes with new headlights and tail lights, updated front bumper and minor changes to the rear bumper. Expect the BMW 3 Series GT to also receive the improved interior and infotainment system as well.
Powerplants will also carry over from the updated 3 Series meaning the 328i xDrive Gran Turismo will live on while the 335i xDrive Gran Turismo will likelky become the 340i xDrive Gran Turismo. Expect the 328i to offer a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 240 horsepower while the 340i will get a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 320 hp.
