U.S. pricing for the 2016 Nissan Titan XD has been released.
The new pickup’s S trim will start at $40,290, SV trim starts at $44,060, while the PRO-4X trim will start at $50,970. Moving up, the SL trim starts at $52,030, and the topline Platinum Reserve starts at $57,470. A fully loaded Nissan Titan XD will end up costing just more than $60,000. New Titans will come with a 5.0-liter Cummins V8 diesel with 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque. A new 5.6L gas V8 was also just announced with 390 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. A V6 engine is also expected to be announced in the near future.
The base diesel Titan crew cab with rear-wheel drive is rated to tow 12,314 pounds.
The Titan occupies a unique position in the pickup market; it is slated to appeal to buyers in between half-ton and three-quarter ton pickup market.
