The Audi A3 sedan is getting a facelift and AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers have caught it testing in the snow.

Although the changes appear minor, the Audi A3 sedan is getting a redesigned front grille while the headlights and front bumper are also getting a new shape. The rear tail lights are getting updated with a new design, albeit minor.

Overall, the facelifted Audi A3 is getting styling cues from the new A4 and it will look like a smaller version of the sedan once its debuts next year.

It is rumored that the updated Audi A3 will debut with a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine with around 190 horsepower and will benefit from Cylinder on Demand technology borrowed from the 1.4-liter TFSI engine.

As for the inside, the German automaker previously confirmed that the redesigned A3 will receive the new Audi Virtual Cockpit that is currently offered in the TT, R8, Q7 and A4 models.
