Buyers Experiencing Delays on Getting Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon Diesel Pickups

1

Members on an AutoGuide.com enthusiast forum, Colorado Fans, have reported long delays in delivery for their Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon diesel pickups and it’s unclear what is causing the delay.

Less than a week ago, one user started a thread titled “How Long Have You Been Waiting For Delivery?” and at the time of writing, there were more than 185 pages of responses with some users having waited more than four months for their truck.

GM has said that the delay is not related to any sort of EPA emissions testing, while The Truth About Cars reports that the trucks are still in final validations and the American automaker hopes to ship them soon.

There is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, as later posts do show owners taking delivery of their trucks after waiting a couple of months.

Have you been patiently waiting for your Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon diesel? Drop us a note in the comments if you have or if you have been one of the lucky few that have taken delivery.

Still happy with my 2006 Ranger 4wd. If I did trade today it would be for the Canyon/Colorado 3.6L
