Here’s What the Future of Acura Sedans Will Look Like

Acura is previewing the design of its future models at the 2016 North American International Auto Show.

The company is teasing what it calls the Acura Precision Concept, which will bow January 12 in Detroit. The concept is created by Acura Design Studio in California and “will help set the direction for future Acura design; in particular, the next generation of performance-luxury sedans,” Acura said in a release.

Now that the 2017 Acura NSX will finally be heading to dealerships next year, the company is focusing on the rest of its lineup. We will get our first look at which direction Acura is taking its design as AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.

“The Acura Precision Concept will signal the stronger and sharper focus of Acura styling on our core DNA we call ‘precision crafted performance’,” said Dave Marek, global creative director for the Acura brand. “It is our intention to more strongly express performance through design and the Acura Precision Concept will serve as the inspiration for the styling and proportion of the next-generation of Acura vehicles, especially for our sedans.”
