2017 Ford Fusion Video, First Look

1

The 2017 Ford Fusion is getting sportier with its refresh.

The American automaker is adding a V6 Sport model to the Ford Fusion’s lineup, powered by a 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine with 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The model will come standard with all-wheel drive, making it a compelling and attractive option in the crowded sedan segment. Helping enhance its sporty appeal is continuously-controlled damping that rapidly adjusts the shock absorbers while driving, helping improve handling without sacrificing ride quality.

The majority of the exterior changes are reserved for the front end while new advanced technologies include pedestrian detection, hands-free parking and Ford’s latest SYNC 3 infotainment system. Expected to go on sale this summer, Ford will announce pricing closer to the 2017 Fusion’s release. For now, check out a first look video on the sedan below.

Although not in the same class like a luxury sports sedan, this sport model with just performance alone almost makes them obsolete. Glad this car is raising the bar for the family sedans.
