Mercedes-Benz debuted its “most advanced vehicle” at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
Entering its 10th generation, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sports the German automaker’s “Sensual Purity” design language and will launch in the U.S. with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an expected 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Although that might not sound impressive to some, expect more hardcore models to join the E-Class lineup in the near future.

The focus on the new E-Class however is in its interior, boasting an impressive 12.3-inch widescreen display. There are also touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel and a simplified infotainment system with handwriting recognition. Other high-tech features include autonomous features such as helping you steer through corners and change lanes.
