As if the Bugatti Veyron wasn’t rare enough, an even rarer special edition model is available for sale.
Considering the Veyron is no longer in production, this is one of those unique opportunities to get your hands on one. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is currently for sale at H.R. Owen in London and is on display at the Jack Barclay Bugatti showroom in Berkeley Square.
As the world’s fastest roadster with a record top speed of 254.04 mph, this low-mileage example features an eye-catching black carbon fiber and orange exterior. The two-tone style continues into the interior with black and orange leather combined with Arancia Mira Alcantara.
Only eight of the 450 Veyrons ever made were World Record Editions, sporting the same color scheme as the car’s record-breaking speed attempt that took place in April 2013. Only 150 Veyron roadsters were ever made.
Priced at £1,795,000 ($2.56 million), the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is expected to retain its value for years to come.
For now, the Veyron is the most exclusive Bugatti ever made, but the Chiron is on the horizon and will be available for sale later this year.
“It was a pleasure to sell this car to its first owner the first time around, and we are delighted that our unique relationship with our clients means that we have the opportunity to help the car find its second owner,” said Anita Krizsan, Bugatti brand director for H.R. Owen. “This is a fantastic example of an iconic car, which has been meticulously cared for in its life so far. It will make for a wonderful investment for collectors and enthusiast alike.”
