Volkswagen is teasing yet another SUV model that will debut in concept form at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The German automaker is delivering on its promise to offer numerous new crossover and SUV models and will show off a concept that “will liven up the compact car class in the form of a trendy, affordable SUV,” it said in a press release. The company added that this concept can be seen as the beginning of a broad SUV offensive and with this vehicle, Volkswagen will give a realistic perspective on a completely new model series.
Although the teaser doesn’t reveal much more than its front end, Volkswagen did say that the concept will feature hardly any switches inside and will serve as a conceptual bridge to the BUDD-e that made its debut earlier this year at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The concept could also preview what a new Tiguan could look like.
