2017 Porsche Panamera Spied Nearly Camouflage Free

The 2017 Porsche Panamera must be getting close to its grand debut.

The next-generation luxury sports sedan has become a favorite among spy photographers and has once again been caught on camera. Sporting very little camouflage on its body, the only details we’re missing are the production headlights and tail lights that the German automaker still wants to keep a secret.

Riding on an all-new MSB chassis, the second-generation Panamera isn’t a far departure from the current model, but it is more stylish and sportier in appearance. Heavily influenced by the Panamera Sport Turismo concept, the overall shape and profile of the Panamera doesn’t change much, although it does have sleeker styling.

The new platform use a mix of materials including high-strength steel, aluminum and some composite material to help save weight. Porsche hopes to get rid of around 200 pounds compared to the current model with the new chassis. Also using the MSB platform will be the next-generation Bentley Continental range.

The new 2017 Porsche Panamera will benefit from a variety of powertrain offerings including six- and eight-cylinder engines as well as a plug-in hybrid model. Look for it to make its debut in the coming months considering the German automaker isn’t afraid of getting it caught on camera with very little camouflage.
