Roughly 1,750 vehicles are affected in total from the 2016 model year. According to a notice sent to dealers, these vehicles can experience a problem where the second stage of the driver’s airbag may not deploy properly in a high-speed crash. If this happens, the airbag won’t fill as quickly as it should, which could result in an injury.
