The Lexus LFA is one rare machine and now there’s one for sale that’s even more unique.
Posted up for sale by the Lexus Rosenheim dealership in Germany, the asking price for this Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition is 6,430,000 euros or $7.16 million. What makes this Lexus LFA so special is that it has been signed by Toyota president Akio Toyoda with the signature actually going underneath the car’s clear coat to better preserve it. The car is also nearly brand new with only 422 miles on the odometer.
The Lexus LFA Nurburgring was priced at $445,000 when it was first offered, making it the most expensive Japanese car ever. It was limited to just 50 units and featured enhanced aerodynamics and technical refinements to make it capable of lapping the Nurburgring in 7:20. That price also came with instructional sessions at the Nurburgring, a special jacket and a one-year pass to the track.
Powering the Lexus LFA Nurburgring is a 4.8-liter V8 engine with 562 horsepower, giving it 10 more ponies than the standard model.
