Ford has released the first video in a series showing how its new Focus RS RX Rallycross car came together.
The four-part series will show off vehicle development of the Focus RS RX, which was put together by the Ford Performance team based in Dearborn, Michigan along with UK-based M-Sport and the Hoonigan Racing Division.
The first installment in the series looks at the design and development of the race car and how Ford collaborated with M-Sport racing.
Hoonigan drivers Ken Block and Andreas Bakkerud will be campaigning two Focus RS RX cars in the the FIA World Rallycross Championship this year, beginning on May 6-8 in Hockenheim, Germany.
“This project has been probably the most dynamic involvement of my team in a car like this,” said racer Ken Block. “Trying to race at the highest level of the sport and doing it with factory help and with a race shop like M-Sport has been incredible.”
