A new video has been released showcasing the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor in its natural environment.
Known for its off-road capabilities, the new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor promises to be the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 Raptor ever. The American automaker has shared a video showcasing the truck on the same Mojave Desert terrain where the F-150 Raptor was designed and tested to excel. Compared to the previous Raptor, the new truck has shed more than 500 pounds thanks to high-strength, military-grade aluminum – just like the standard F-150.
Helping the new Raptor tackle the toughest of surfaces are redesigned, larger FOX Racing Shox that offer more suspension travel, along with all-new terrain management technology. Under the hood is a second-generation 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers more performance than the previous-generation’s 6.2-liter V8 that had 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque.
The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be produced at the company’s Dearborn Truck Plant and goes on sale this fall.
