BMW 4 Series Caught by Spy Photographers Testing Facelift
The BMW 4 Series is following in the footsteps of the 3 Series sedan.
Spy photographers have caught the facelifted BMW 4 Series testing, getting a similar treatment that the 3 Series received last year. The front and rear bumpers have been slightly redesigned, along with tweaks to the headlights and tail lights. As you can tell by the lack of camouflage on the rest of the body, the 4 Series won’t undergo any major changes for its mid-cycle refresh.

Expect changes to the interior to come in the form of an updated infotainment system and new options for trim. There should also be minor upgrades to powertrain offerings and there’s a possibility a new three-cylinder engine is added to the range, giving the 4 Series a new entry-level model. It is unlikely, however, that a three-cylinder-powered BMW 4 Series will be offered in the U.S.
