Kia is teasing an all-new Rio subcompact before the car makes its official debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September.
The Rio, which is the manufacturer’s best-selling model worldwide, will be entirely new when it debuts and it now features a longer wheelbase, a longer front overhang and a new more upright c-pillar.
Kia says that we can expect the latest in safety and connectivity features along with updated ride and handling characteristics which the brand calls engaging.
Kia says that the new Rio will enter production for Europe near the end of 2016, though timing for the U.S. market was not announced. The new Rio is expected to arrive in North America as a 2018 model.
The car will be fully unveiled on September 29. Check back for live coverage from the Paris Motor Show from AutoGuide.com.
