The NISMO model heading to the 2016 L.A. Auto Show isn’t a surprise anymore.
CarBuzz reports that the production Nissan Sentra NISMO will bow in November, three years after the concept originally debuted at the same event.
The concept featured a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with over 240 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque while paired to a six-speed manual transmission. Expect a few changes from the concept, with styling likely toned down based on recent photos caught by spy photographers of a prototype testing in downtown L.A.
This also means that NISMO’s lineup will expand with the addition of the Sentra NISMO, joining the existing Juke NISMO RS, Juke NISMO, 370Z NISMO and GT-R NISMO models.
