The best-selling car in America has received a new aggressive face and a new platform.
Making its presence known at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show is the new 2018 Toyota Camry, sporting a much sleeker profile than before. On the outside, the sedan’s hood, shoulder line and roofline have been lowered for improved aerodynamics and aesthetics. To go along with its more aggressive styling, Toyota claims it’s more dynamic to drive as it rides on the same new global architecture that currently underpins the Toyota Prius.
Powertrain options for the Camry are also new, including 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 engines. The hybrid system is also new, but unfortunately Toyota hasn’t revealed specifications on any of the powertrain options yet. Look for more information on the 2018 Toyota Camry closer to its launch later this year.
