The Japanese automaker released a teaser image of the new concept car that gives us a glimpse at the vehicle’s front end. The image isn’t very telling, but does show a lower front bumper with additional air intakes and a new dual vented hood. Infiniti says the car, which is expected to debut in full tomorrow, is a “radical reinterpretation” of the Q60’s design with “stand-out” aerodynamic elements.
The Q60 Project Black S concept will be used to “help to gauge potential public interest in high-performance derivatives,” of future Infiniti models, the automaker says. Its high performance models are currently marked by the presence of a red ‘S’ badge, however this concept may preview the arrival of even faster versions that will be marked with a black ‘S’.
The Infiniti Q60 Project Black S concept will make its international debut in Geneva next week.
