Porsche Recalls Macan to Address Fuel Leak Issue

A total of 51,497 units of the Porache Macan are affected by a recall over a fuel leak.

According to Porsche, fine hairline cracks could appear after an extended period of use on the filter flange of the fuel pump on affected vehicles. If the fine hairline cracks do occur, a very small quantity of fuel may seep out, causing a fuel odor. The German automaker is not aware of any incidents reported in actual usage in the field and dealers will inspect the affected vehicles, sealing or replacing the flange as necessary.
