The car still won’t be officially unveiled until July 1 at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Although the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS “debuted” during the Microsoft Xbox E3 2017 press conference earlier this month, the German automaker still hasn’t officially announced it. That means specifications and details on what’s being called the most powerful 911 ever made are being kept under wraps. But the car is likely under the cover at Porsche’s booth at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the company promises everything will be uncovered on July 1 in the U.K.
But that hasn’t stopped photos from leaking ahead of time, courtesy of user Loess on Rennlist, giving us our best look yet at the new 911 GT2 RS. There’s plenty of carbon-fiber inside the interior, along with Weissach branding, and a lot of contrasting red elements, including the majority of the steering wheel. We should finally know more about the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS in the coming days, but for now, enjoy the photos.
