Ferrari is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2017 and has been hosting celebratory gatherings all over the world, with the United Kingdom playing host to two Ferrari-themed events recently.
Ferrari owners descended upon Birmingham on July 28th for the storied Italian automaker’s 70th birthday celebrations, while others joined in on the commemorative fun in Cheshire on August 1st. Over 70 Ferraris were in attendance at each event, including limited-run models such as the 599 GTO, F40 and 70th Edition F12. The centerpiece of each event, however, was the LaFerrari Aperta, which was built specifically to mark the brand’s 70th year in business.
The event in Birmingham attracted Ferrari fans of all types, having been held in directly in the center of the UK’s second largest city. The event in Cheshire, meanwhile, was held at Capesthorne Hall – an early 18th-century country house that provided a beautiful backdrop for the hoard of rare cars in attendance.
You can view the photos from both of the events in the gallery above. Ferrari will continue to hold 70th anniversary celebrations for the remainder of the year, with similar events still to be held in China, Singapore, California, Maranello, South Korea, Australia and Japan.
