A Lamborghini is a great vehicle to drive to the golf course, and Lamborghini and Callaway have teamed up to create a super strong, lightweight golf club – though you may have trouble getting it in the trunk.

Using forged composite to make the Razr Hawk (the same material used in the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept), this material is a lighter, stronger, and more precise version of traditional woven carbon fiber or titanium. Boasting a higher threshold for standing up to extreme conditions, this composite material features 500,000 intertwined turbostatic fibers per inch.

Offering an improved overall performance, the Razr Hawk is sleek and polished, not to mention lighter and stronger. In fact, tests have shown that this club can hit a tee shot of up to six yards longer than what its predecessor, the FT-9, could. And if you’re at all competitive, that six yards could mean the difference between first and second place.

Corvette’s Z06 platform is arguably one of the most potent foundations on which to build a street-legal race car from. Callaway Europe has recently been working on its Z06-RR, outfitting the American sports car with plenty of race-inspired go fast goods while retaining its street legality.

Starting with the Z06′s aluminum frame that’s been stiffened with a cage, Callaway bolted on a set of AP Racing brakes while Moton dampers handle suspension duties. For the exterior, the Z06-RR features a GT2 spec rear wing and a ZR1/GT3 front splitter. The only performance modification mentioned is a new exhaust system, but it is stated that a special LS7 track engine does power the Z06-RR, built by APP Racing Engines in Holland.

Make sure to check out a video of Callaway’s Z06-RR in action after the break.
