If you like tuner cars, you probably love the SEMA Show. At the 2011 installment of this custom car show, you could enter your personal ride to be forever immortalized in the digital world of the Gran Turismo game. Interested? Read on!

This year, as in some previous years, Sony/Polyphony will be holding a contest to see which show car should win the prize of being included in the next game. Five categories are open for the contest, which are Truck/SUV, Asian Import, European Import, Domestic Auto or Hot Rod.

The winner from each category will then be judged by Gran Turismo creator Kazumori Yamauchi, who is a bit of a car nut himself. He will pick just one car from the five categories to be sent to the digital lab for it to be reborn in the game. This vehicle will be included in the next installation of the Gran Turismo game.

Seeing how the last game took forever to hit the market, the winner of this contest is advised to not hold his/her breath waiting to see their ride appear in the game. Find out how to enter here.

The 2011 SEMA Show runs from November 1 – 4. Check out AutoGuide’s complete preview and coverage here.

Are your kids starting to wear on your nerves as summer vacation drags on? Put them to work – by designing and decorating their own 2012 Toyota Sienna.

Kids can win their parents a Toyota Sienna just by watching TV and putting their creative skills to good use. All they need to do is go online to DisneyJunior.ca and customize a Toyota Sienna using elements from Disney Junior shows. In August, you and your kids watch to see if their Sienna rolls across the screen during Disney Junior shows.

If you’re a mom, you can get in on this contest as well – 10 Disney Junior Mom Bloggers will have the chance to road-test the Sienna and blog about their experiences with this minivan.

“This contest is all about kids having fun personalizing their Sienna and for parents, it’s the opportunity to win a vehicle that is about family fun, safety, comfort and convenience,” said Stephen Beatty, Managing Director at Toyota Canada Inc. “The Sienna has received many third-party accolades from safety to reliability and fuel efficiency, but we really can’t wait to hear the real world impressions from Disney Junior Bloggers.”

Kids can decorate their 2012 Toyota Sienna until July 31. Every day between August 1 and 21 on both the English and French-language Disney Junior networks, a new design and the name of the child who submitted it will be aired during shows such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Stella and Sam. If you or you child sees their design, they need to log DisneyJunior.ca to enter the date, time, and show where they saw it. They will then be entered for a chance to win a new 2012 Toyota Sienna, which will be given away at the end of the contest. The more they spot their design on television, the more they can enter and the more chances they have to win.

It’s summer and your expenses have to go further. Ice cream, ballpark franks, cold beverages – there’s a lot more stuff to buy. Shell understands that you have better things to spend your cash on rather than gas – that’s why they are giving you the chance to win free fuel for a whole year.

From June 27 until September 5, 2011, consumers have the chance to enter the Shell “Favorite Road Trip” Sweepstakes. You may be one of 10 lucky drivers to win free fuel for year. There is a little homework involved (boo!) – you need to submit a short story about your favorite road trip route or memory. Every week for 10 weeks, Shell chooses a random winner (so you don’t have to worry about being Danielle Steel or JK Rowling to be selected).  On top of that, random daily winners have a chance to win a $100 Shell Gift Card.

Once you finish your story or if you want to check out all the rules and on Shell’s “Favorite Road Trip” Sweepstakes, visit www.shell.us/roadtrip.

A group of Facebook users have decided to take advantage of Bugatti’s in depth Veyron configurator by holding a contest to see who can produce the ugliest Bugatti Veyron out there. Now for those that haven’t played around with the Veyron configurator – mostly because many of us never plan on owning one – there’s a lot of options and versatility in the app that Bugatti has developed for potential buyers. Nearly everything on the car can be configured in terms of color, which makes for some fantastic results even if you just randomly clicked blindly.

We of course had to join in on the fun. We don’t think we did too bad ourselves, though the competition is pretty heavy out there. But really, mixing and matching the most atrocious combination of colors imaginable makes any car, even a supercar like the Veyron, pretty grotesque.

Moms, listen up – this one’s all about you. To promote their new movie, Mars Needs Moms, Disney wants you to win an all-new Nissan Quest.

The movie follows the adventures of nine-year-old Milo, who discovers how much he needs his mom (voiced by Joan Cusack) when she is kidnapped by aliens. It turns out they need moms to help raise their little Martians.  Moms will love the movie because it’s all about how important they are, while the rest of the family will dig that it’s being shown in IMAX 3D.

The grand prize winner gets to take home the all-new Nissan Quest. Just sign up here for your chance to win. You can play the Mars Need Moms game for more entries to the contest (and it’s a great way to waste some time at work… although we don’t condone that). The contest closes on March 31, 2011.
