Two premier British brands have teamed up to create the ultimate lightweight driver’s shoe called Winner Sport. British luxury automaker Aston Martin gave a helping hand to the shoemakers at John Lobb to create a sleek, aerodynamic shoe featuring finely-tuned details that both brands are infamous for.

The Winner Sport was co-designed by Aston Martin Director of Design Marek Reichman and John Lobb’s Creative Director Andrés Hernández. It’s constructed from full-grain calfskin and lined with supple sheepskin. Adding support at the ankle is soft padding while the metallic eyelets, punched with a wheel of fine holes, reflect Aston Martin’s design cues. And unlike typical John Lobb shoes, the Winner Sport features a specially-engineered bonded rubber sole.

Plenty of color options will be available to those interested in picking up a pair or two and will be on sale at John Lobb and Aston Martin stores worldwide starting in May 2012.

When you step out of your vehicle in these cool driving shoes designed by automotive artist Nicolas Hunziker, all eyes will be on you and not your car.

This funky line of driving shoes follows his successful line of unique t-shirts. He has used five famous racing liveries as his muse and created a cool shoe design for each. But they don’t just look good, they feel good too, thanks to the use of full cow leather and suede uppers plus soft, full leather linings with a removable insole for orthotics.

Get a grip on the gas peddle and on the street with the performance tire design sole that gives you traction in any condition, as well as a rolled heal that offers awesome pedal control and a comfortable stride. To help ensure that you don’t get hung up on the pedal, the shoe’s toe area is wrapped tightly around you own, while an outside abrasion panel helps with your heel-toe shifting.

Added bonuses include an uber-stylish box that features different Hunziker paintings, a flannel shoe bag for traveling, an extra set of insoles and contrasting laces.

These Nicolas Hunziker driving shoes are available in men’s sizes 8 – 11 1/2 by half sized increments, 12 and 13 (sorry ladies). You can choose from: Le Mans Blue, Scuderia Red, Jim Clark Green, McQueen Gulf Blue and Orange or Stirling Moss Blue. Each pair will run you $150 and you can buy them here.
