All sorts of exciting news is breaking with the upcoming Ferrari 620 GT debut, with a leaked photo coming out earlier in the week, and now specifications that have supposedly come directly from the Italian exotic automaker.
It appears that the F620 GT will be powered by a 6.3L V12 powerplant with 740-hp and 690 lb-ft of torque. If those specs hold true, it will be the most powerful 12-cylinder engine Ferrari has ever produced – FXX notwithstanding. Paired to a 8,700-rpm redline, it appears the 620 GT will propel to 60-mph in just 3.1 seconds, while its
100-mph sprint will be done in 8.3 seconds. Overall, the 620 GT will also be lighter and shorter than the outgoing 599 model.
The official unveiling of the Ferrari will happen on February 29th, looking as if Ferrari will take advantage of the Leap Year to do something special for their new model. Plus, look for live photos from the Geneva Motor Show, starting March 6th.
Revision: The Ferrari 620 GT will run 0-124 mph (200 km/h) in 8.5 seconds.
