Looking for an immaculate 1969 Ford Mustang packing a 557 V8 under the hood that has been disguised in a 429 body? This highly detailed, frame-off build could be yours for “just” $159,900.

The project has only seen about 300 miles since its completion and sports one of the most immaculate bodies ever to grace RK Motors. Raven Black paint generously coats the exterior while a fully-functional hood scoop, ridged fenders painted with the Boss 557 logo hint at what this Mustang has to offer.

A fully-built Jon Kaase racing engine residing in the engine bay, where the real fun begins. The 557-cubic inch V8 makes 800-hp and 750 lb-ft of torque giving this ‘Stang plenty of power to back up its menacing bravado. Blue accents can be seen throughout the engine bay contrasting the Raven Black paint while billet hood hinges, a billet master cylinder and gloss black wire loom keeps everything looking fresh and modern.

The 557 is mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission which helps put all the power to the 15-inch chrome Magnum 500 wheels that are wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber.

The interior gets a similar treatment that the rest of the project holds, with classic and modern components found throughout its black and silver shade. A series of Auto Meter Phantom gauges reports the vitals of the vehicle while a Sony Xplod CD player is seen in the dash. The speakers are now from Infinity and part of their Kappa line, while the driver directs the car via a chrome Grant GT steering wheel.

After the projected was completed, it was shown once at the 2009 Bowling Green, Kentucky Goodguys event where it easily took the Best Ford award. Since then, it has been enjoyed sparingly, but preserved immaculately for its next owner.
