MINI hid cameras in a few of its dealerships to capture the reactions people had to some pretty unexpected situations. The series, titled Not Normal, features funny videos of car shoppers reacting to weird and quirky antics.

Take the video below as an example. This fellow has no idea what to do when a knight on a unicorn rides into the MINI showroom. He’s got a look on his face that says, “WTF? Am I the only one seeing this?!?”

This could be one of the best marketing ideas ever or one of the most embarrassing endorsements of all time, it’s up to you. 

Leaping on the ridiculously popular “Gangnam Style” music video currently counting almost 215 million YouTube hits, Hyundai paired up with South Korean rapper PSY to endorse its Equus luxury sedan.

The automaker posted a photo of the singer posing with a California-plated Equus on its Facebook page today featuring a “swag-o-meter.”

Despite the video featuring a Mercedes SLK, the brand seems to hope people will buy into the idea that its flagship car is, in fact, cool enough to have gangnam style. Better yet, getting a little Gangnam Style for your own collection is reasonably priced next to the competition.

It’s true that the video features the wimpy SLK 200 which costs quite a bit less than Hyundai’s luxury sedan, but it also has a V8. You’ll need to drop $67,990 with Mercedes to get an SLK counting the same number of cylinders.

Gentlemen, start your felines. In a hilarious marketing campaign, the developers behind the XLR8 app that makes acceleration noises as you drive, strapped an iPhone to their kitty and sent it running.

The result? A V8-powered tabby with a mean-sounding tailpipe. It’s not clear how well the app, which is meant to be used in your car, actually works when you attach it to an animal, but the video is really funny.

Reminiscent of the viral YouTube sensation “Powerthirst,” the XLR8 “for cats” video pokes fun at itself before admitting that they aren’t serious and it isn’t nice to torture your girlfriend’s pet.

Still, the idea of doing the same thing with a Rotwieler chasing a tennis ball is probably more fitting and sure to get a chuckle at the dog park. For 99 cents you can give it a whirl, though the user reviews suggest the app isn’t as accurate as you might hope.

Hillary Clinton, along other politicians, relied in past political campaigns on video games translating into real-life violence and consequence.

Please don’t show her this video, lest we endure another lecture on the dangers of digital entertainment. instead laugh at the Super Mario-themed clip featuring a scooter-rider dodging digital cones. Trust us, the video has a funny ending and it’s much better after having seen the full clip.

There is less than a week until Christmas and if you’re looking for a gift that’s just plain bonkers we’re here to help. How about a 1991 Toyota Camry LE customized like a candy cane and decked out in what can only be described as hilarity and nonsense.

Despite the Providence, RI. seller, repeatedly insisting the car is not for sale during his advertisement, it can be had for a tiny buy-it-now price of $1.7 million on eBay. For that price it comes complete with the world’s smallest pogo stick instead of a spare tire, hopelessly goofy workout equipment on the roof, a live Boston terrier hood ornament and many other homespun features.

The price-tag might seem outrageous, but consider this: the silly Santa selling the car might actually be ahead of safety innovators like Volvo. His creation sports functional fashion: stripes that boast “900 candlepower” to make sure you not only see the car day or night, but that you’re as good as blind while driving behind it. If you get hit in this thing it’s probably intentional.

Not only that, but the car runs on insanity instead of gas— “eat your heart out, GM,” the seller says in his video. It’s probably true because you would have to be crazy to bid on this thing, or would you?

Right now there are 23 bids for the car, which is currently fetching $2025. Sure it falls short of the price tag, but what value can you really put on a car that really is unforgettable? The answer is just around the corner. Rhode Island’s funniest car will disappear from eBay on December 22 and we’re eagerly watching to see what people are willing to pay.
