Automotive Gifts for Everyone
Still scrambling to find the perfect gift for the car lover on your list? Here are a few items that can be quickly ordered online and would impress even the biggest of car snobs. The selection here is pretty diverse, so it will be easy to find something for anyone.
‘Tis almost the season and if you’re looking to fill up your holiday gift list, Porsche has a few ideas you’ll want to let Santa know about.
New items that will make great gifts include iPad and iPhone cases. The cases are made from original vehicle interior leather and decorated with a Porsche crest. To ensure that your gadgets stay safe, they are fully lined with a padded protective external cover. The iPad case sells for £100 (about US$135) and the iPhone case sells for £50 (about US$68).
If you want your kids to go dashing through the snow in style, Porsche also has a new children’s bobsled. Offering full steering control and design inspired the 918 Spyder, this bobsled will kick up plenty of snow as it races down the hills. The Porsche bobsled retails for £100 (about US$135).
To get your holiday shopping done early, head over to the Porsche Design Store.
You can’t afford to get him a Porsche for Christmas. Then go with the next best thing – the Porsche Design P´6920 Rattrapante Limited Edition wrist watch.
Sleek, cool and uber-stylish (just like the car), this mechanical flyback chronograph lets you precisely measure and display intermediate times as often as you’d like. Patrick Schwarz, CEO of Eterna SA (the Swiss watchmaking company that makes and sells the Porsch Design line) says, “The P’6920 Rattrapante Limited Edition combines venerable Swiss watchmaking with the purist Porsche design in an exceptional way.”
Powered by ETA Valjoux 7750 precision movement, the P’6920 Rattrapante Limited Edition also features the AR2 Rattrapante module and comes with COSC certification. Its chronometer is equipped with an automatic, double-sided winding system, an energy-optimized Porsche Design rotor and a 48-hour power reserve.
The P’6920 Rattrapante Limited Edition only has a run of 200 pieces, and comes in a PVD [Physical Vapor Deposition]-coated titanium version, as well as 18-karat pink gold edition that’s limited to 50 pieces.
Lamborghini aficionados looking to fill out their holiday wish list are in luck. You can pick out everything your Lamborghini-loving heart desires on a website that’s dedicated to selling the brand’s official merchandise.
According to the automaker, the website was launched earlier this week and will sell clothing, gifts, model vehicles and much more. You can visit the site at www.lamborghinistore.com, which includes personalization options on the clothing apparel they sell. Another great bonus the site offers is the ability to order without registering.
“The Lamborghini e-commerce store continues our brand extension strategy of offering high-end products that allow our customers to embody the spirit of our super sports cars in all aspects of their lives,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini president and CEO.
Some personal favorites of ours include the Puff Vest in a bag (€325,00), the Lamborghini Silver Cufflinks (€99,00) and the New Born Baby Starter Kit (€189,00).
