Oh Ashton Kutcher, what are we going to do with you. The new Charlie Sheen replacement on Two and a Half Men seems to be going down a Sheen-like path himself, apparently trying to win Demi Moore’s heart back with a… 2012 Lexus LS 600h L, paying just a tad over $100,000 to get the luxury hybrid sedan.
Kutcher may really be popular with all the girls out there, but it looks like he needs to take some notes from other adulterers like Kobe Bryant. Look, your significant other isn’t going to be content with a $100,000 Lexus hybrid sedan as a make-up gift, especially when it’s pretty obvious that she could get one herself. Go put a little thought into it, get herself a ring the size of your ego, and maybe you’ll stand a chance. Oh well, the divorce is already well on its way and well, we think no one really feels bad for either party involved. At least Kutcher’s trying to make love “green”.

Lexus’ moment to shine is coming soon with the Monaco Royal Couple’s wedding, and more photos and a video of the one-off LS600h Landaulet featuring a special transparent roof has been released to the public. The event will take place on July 2nd, when the Royal Couple will head from Rocher down to the Monaco Harbour and the Sainte-Dévote chapel in true Lexus luxury.
The purpose behind the futuristic, single-piece polycarbonate roof is to allow all of Monaco’s citizens to see the Royal Couple as they tour the streets in the LS600h. More importantly, the luxury sedan will be operating in full electric motor mode, emitting zero emissions.
Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to choose Lexus’ LS600h in order to promote his commitment to protecting the environment and minimizing the environmental impact of wedding celebrations. We’re not really sure what kind of impact this will have on Lexus’ LS600h sales, but hey, there’s no better way than to lead by example.
Check out a video preview of the Landaulet after the break.

Lexus has unveiled a one-off Midnight Blue LS600h Landaulet for the July 2nd wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco. Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet completed the conversion, but Lexus engineers partook in the project to ensure the highest levels of quality. The Landaulet has recently been completed, and took more than 2,000 hours to complete.
To compensate for the loss of strength in the roof, engineers equipped the LS with Kevlar and carbon fiber composite materials to “achieve suitable chassis stiffness and torsional rigidity.”
An aerospace firm based in France was used for the transparent roof design, a company that usually specializes in windshields for helicopters and fighter jet canopies. The LS is now fitted with a lightweight polycarbonate shell that has replaced the metal roof structure. The shell is 8mm thick and only weighs 57 pounds.
After the wedding, the LS will chauffeur Prince Albert II of Monaco and his soon to be wife Carlene Wittstock on a tour of the principality in electric vehicle mode.

Hot on the heels of their Tokyo Auto Salon showing, Wald International has released a Black Bison Edition styling package for one of Japan’s top luxury sedans, the LS series from Lexus. To show off their new kit, Wald chose to use an LS600h as their demo vehicle, but promises that the Black Bison Edition is compatible with the LS460 and even the LS long wheelbase model.
Similar to all their other Black Bison Edition vehicles, the Lexus LS600h sports a full body kit which includes a new front bumper, blacked out grille, new fenders, side skirts, roof and trunk spoiler, and rear bumper equipped with a new diffuser. Playing tribute to Lexus’ IS-F is a stacked quad-tipped exhaust system with a design similar to the factory IS-F’s unit.
Wald chose to outfit their Lexus LS600h with a set of their own Mahor wheels, which are available in a variety of widths in a 22-inch and 24-inch variety. No pricing has been announced for the Black Bison Edition Lexus LS package.
