BMW just released teaser images of its upcoming M6 Gran Coupe — a punch-drunk mishmash of power and style that doesn’t quite know what it is.
After months of being spotted with and without camouflage, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe has been fully revealed at an exclusive event in Germany, giving Americans a glimpse of what to expect when it arrives in America next year.
We’ve spied the BMW M6 Gran Coupe earlier this year sporting some camouflage, and it appears that the German automaker is getting ready to unveil the newest member of the M6 family soon.
BMW is definitely hearing the plea that American buyers hunger for performance. Even though we’re not getting an M7 model but rather an M770i xDrive, the German automaker is blessing us with an M6 Gran Coupe.
New rumors are surfacing regarding BMW‘s new M6 and the possible M6 Gran Coupe, now speculated to make its debut before the M6 Coupe and Convertible variants.
Rumor has it the M6 Gran Coupe could make its debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show around March. The M6 Coupe and Convertible would then make its debut sometime in June. It’s really all pure speculation at this point, but it will be interesting to see if the M6 Gran Coupe can compete with Mercedes-Benz‘s CLS and Audi‘s A7. It may seem that will be late to the party, but there’s never any questioning an M-model’s performance once it makes it onto the street.
