MINI has revealed the Clubman Hampton edition ahead of its planned debut at the Geneva Auto Show, announcing the special trim will be available on all four Clubman models – including the new Clubman SD.
With a special Reef Blue paint color, the vehicle gets custom silver accents with the wheels available in either silver or black with a red trim. Inside, black Lounge Leather seats get red edging and orange stitching, while the roof and speedometer get a special anthracite color – the speedometer also being trimmed in red. Standard goodies include an upgraded interior with a sports steering wheel, automatic climate control and custom floor mats. And of course there are the obligatory markings with ‘Hampton’ badges on the fenders and radiator grille, while ‘MINI 50 Hampton’ appears on the door sills
The new package will debut in Geneva where company execs intend to draw attention to the new MINI Yours program, taking the brand’s trademark customization to a new level. While MINI currently offers a long list of dealer-installed accessories, MINI Yours will offer customization options from the factory with different paint colors, interior trim colors and materials, as well as special equipment packages.
We’ll bring you more on the car and MINI Yours from the Geneva Auto Show starting March 1st. Until then, see AutoGuide’s 2011 Geneva Auto Show Preview here.
