Lotus has just announced it will debut a Mansory-tuned version of its Evora sports car at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show. In a brief statement, the British sports car company makes it very clear that this is in now way a new version of the car, not is it a facelift, but simply a look at what level of personalization Lotus owners can achieve with the Evora as a canvas.

No details about the project have been released, but from two photos provided by Lotus, it’s easy to see the extensive carbon fiber bodywork. No doubt commissioned by Lotus, the project appears (at first, at least) to be much more subtle than some of Mansory’s past creations, which have included a widebody Aston Martin DB9, a Barbie Pink Bentley and an eye-searing Panamera.

Geneva Auto Show coverage starts March 1st. Until then, get more news on the show with AutoGuide’s complete 2011 Geneva Auto Show Preview here.
