Vorsteiner has done an amazing job executing tuning packages on some of Germany’s finest automobiles, and it may have been a long time coming, but they’ve finally gotten their hands dirty on one of Italy’s offerings. The subject of Vorsteiner’s first Italian project is Ferrari‘s 599 GTB Fiorano, the front-engine V12-powered exotic. Drawing inspiration from other 599 variants, Vorsteiner has named their exotic 599 VX, blending the best of both worlds, from the 599 GTO and 599XX.

The 599 VX will come with an eight-piece styling package, replacing the factory front bumper, hood, side skirts, rear deck lid, rear intake panel, and rear bumper (with diffuser). And as always with Vorsteiner’s products, the styling package is constructed out of high quality, lightweight carbon fiber and will be paired with a set of Vorsteiner’s T-6160 aluminum wheels. Finishing off the project is a sporty new stainless steel exhaust, guaranteed to give the 599 a whole new tone.

A countdown on their website shows that the official unveil is slightly five days away, but we have these photos to keep us interested until then.

If you want a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano but think it suffers from being too elegant, then the Mansory Stallone might just be up your alley.

Mansory has made quite a name for itself by customizing exotic machinery to its clients individual needs, and it is clear, money doesn’t necessarily buy you good taste. Hence over the years, we have seen many wild and extravagant modifications on many different exotic automobiles, and Ferrari’s are no exception.

Mansory had made just five copies of the modified 599. Along with changing the cars name to Stallone, Mansory has added a unique body-kit, special wheels and an interior of truly questionable taste.

Now you can have a Stallone of your own since one has propped up for sale in Dubai. The seller, Prestige Cars has not listed much information on this 720-hp supercar, so your guess on its price and mileage is as good as ours. Their website just states it is a 2008 model.

So if you’re interested in parking one of these in your garage, now you know where to find one.

Fast forward nearly 40 years since the first Stratos was produced, and a new Stratos has come among us. This one too has a Ferrari engine and even the underpinnings of the Ferrari F430 as its basis.

While the original was designed by the design house of Bertone, the new Stratos is penned by Pininfarina.

Interestingly, the new Stratos has no direct Lancia link. The prototype was commissioned by Michael Stoschek, a German businessman who loved the Stratos and wanted a modern interpretation of it.

While the new Stratos was supposed to have been a one-off, it now seems  that 40 people have come forward who want one of their own. According to reports, this 540-hp supercar will cost around $545,000 (or just over $10,000 per horsepower). For that price, the donor F430 is included.

So if you’ve got the means and the desire to own a modern day Stratos, join the queue.

Before the untimely death of Uwe Gemballa, he had given the world a special gift, a modified Ferrari Enzo. Gemballa is one of the most well-known tuners in the world, but all his work was previously focused on Porsches. So the move to work his magic on a Ferrari, and a very rare one at that – only 400 Enzo’s were ever produced – came as a big surprise.

The tuning went far beyond just looks. The Enzo’s aerodynamics were tweaked to give the car more downforce at speed, and the brakes have more ducting to cool them quicker. It’s also lighter, lower, wider and faster. The extra speed comes thanks to a tuned 6.0-liter V12, that now produces 700 hp.

The initial plans were to produce 25 examples of the Enzo-based MIG-U1, but with Gemballa’s death and reoganization of his company, so far only one such vehicle exists. It is currently on sale, and while the listing says the car is in the U.S.A., after inquiring the seller informed us it is actually currently sitting in Paris, France.

Interested? Thought you might be, after all it would make for an interesting addition to any garage. However, as you might have guessed, it is not exactly cheap. The current owner is asking $3.8-million for it, which is twice as much as what a regular Enzo is fetching these days. We suggest you crack open all your piggy-banks now.

We’ve seen some crazy car builds in our time, but this one might top the list. SVK Customs based out of Sweden has been overhauling a Ferrari 550 GTR to one exotic machine. Just a brief overview will make any enthusiast drop their jaw: custom carbon fiber widebody kit, BMW powerplant and custom fabricated suspension components to give it some extreme steering angles for drifting – yes drifting.

A closer look at the suspension components reveals plenty of custom fabrication along with center-bolt hubs for the wheels.

For horsepower, SVK wasn’t content with the factory Italian V12, so in went a BMW European V8 with desires of obtaining over 1,000-hp. Yikes.

Fenice Milano’s Fiat 500 La Dolce Vita wasn’t exactly our cup of tea, but it looks like their rendition of Ferrari‘s 458 Italia might be more acceptable. Despite a horrible rendering released by the company, the tuner looks to be on the right track with this tuning package.

Based on our source, there is supposedly a performance increase from the vehicle, but the numbers released by Fenice Milano simply look like the stock figures of 400 ft-lbs of torque and 560-hp. The aerodynamics of the car are tweaked though along with a lightened body thanks to carbon fiber replacements on the roof, front and rear fenders, mirrors and spoiler.

Fenice Milano is also offering an entirely new aluminum frame for the 458 Italia which is paired with suspension tweaks. Outfitting each corner is a set of staggered 20-inch three-piece wheels wrapped with 235/35 rubber in the front and 325/25 rubber in the rear. The only performance modification they state in the release is a new exhaust system which we imagine is good for a few horses.

The Chevy Camaro might officially be the car of the 2010 SEMA Show, but we crossed paths with a rather significant number of Ferraris on the show floor; in particular the new 458 Italia. That being said, we thought it worth a post to share with you the modified 458s becase after all, who doesn’t love Ferraris. (OK, maybe a few Lambo guys don’t, but besides them, we think we have a pretty strong argument here).

Above, we couldn’t help but give the big picture to the Oakley Designs 458 in the HRE wheels booth, as it’s both the most highly modified 458 at the show – and also the best looking. And being in the HRE booth, it’s sporting some light weight P40S Monoblok rollers.

The black P40S design is hard to make out, but you’ll have no problem appreciating the same design in gold, as found on the 458 in the Nitto tires booth.

A total of three of the 458s were courtesy Giovanna Wheels with some particularly gaudy designs that are enough to make us cringe. One of the cars, a yellow and black 458, was (we’re forced to admit) well-suited to the Pirelli booth, while we absolutely love the shade of red on another of the cars – pity about the chrome wheels though. It was more of the same at the Savini wheels booth with a dark gray 458 there.

GALLERY: Modified Ferrari 458 Italias of the 2010 SEMA Show

EVOMS is known for its “intelligent tuning” capabilities on some of the world’s finest luxury and exotics. Their lineup of ECU upgrades includes products for Porsches, Lamborghinis, AMG Mercedes, Bentleys, Bugattis, Ferraris, Maseratis, VWs and Audis. In short, some of the greatest creations that sport four wheels.

This time around, EVOMS has teamed up with FabSpeed Motorsport to refine the brand new Ferrari 458 Italia. Equipped with FabSpeed’s headers and high-flow cats, EVOMS was able to retune the Italian beauty for an increase of 87-hp and 57 ft-lbs more torque. That’s extremely impressive when you consider just how expertly tuned the Italian exotic’s V8 already is with with 562-hp on tap.

Even though the focus is on EVOMS and their tuning prowess, it’s worth noting the craftsmanship in FabSpeed’s headers and high-flow cat creations. Their headers sport a fancy 4-into-1 high velocity merge collector and offer a 13 lb weight saving. Their high-flow cats incorporate extremely expensive 200-cell genuine German imported catalytic converters which then offer a nice 12 lb weight savings.

We’re guessing this 458 Italia sounds wicked and hopefully we’ll see some video of it soon.

Apparently having your run-of-the-mill Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider isn’t cool enough anymore. To be really cool, you have to shell out $650,000 for this full carbon fiber model. Yes, the entire body is made of carbon fiber… and so are the wheels. The body itself was crafted by Carrozzeria Zanasi, Maranello’s premier bodywork specialist. Needless to say it’s flawless inside and out, and even in the engine bay – due partly to the fact that this Scud only has 126 miles on the odometer.

In addition to the carbon body this F430 Scuderia sports Tubi titanium exhaust tips, reupholstered interior featuring Alcantara and leather, full-screen navi, front and rear view cameras and the already mentioned carbon fiber wheels.

Apparently the car is sitting at a dealership in Beverly Hills, CA right now (we’re assuming a Ferrari one given all the Ferraris in the photos) – so we wouldn’t be surprised if we see this baby rolling on the streets of Southern California some day soon… because well, you know, $650,000 is chump change in Beverly Hills.

Got your hands on the beautiful and exotic Ferrari California? Finding it a little too mundane for your tastes now? Have no fear because Anderson Germany has released a styling and performance package for every avid California owner out there.

We’re really digging the demo car that they built showing off a fancy white and black theme. Plenty of carbon fiber is scattered throughout the exterior and can be seen on the hood, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear bumper. The wheels feature a classy split-five spoke design in a 21-inch and 22-inch variety with a carbon fiber center. Lowering can be adjusted between 1.37-inch (35mm) lower to 1.57-inch (40mm) higher.

As for performance, Anderson Germany goes above and beyond Ferrari’s R&D to eke out another 55-hp taking the stock 453-hp to 508-hp. The 4.3L V8 produces more power thanks to Anderson Germany’s ECU retune and a valve-controlled stainless steel exhaust system. The exhaust offers three different modes conveniently controlled by a remote.

And if you’re still not content with the extra power and carbon, interior modifications are plentiful with carbon fiber trim throughout.

On display for the first time even, Ferrari chose the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to display the one-off P540 Superfast Aperta. One of the first vehicles to come from Ferrari’s Special Projects program (others including the Enzo-based P4/5 and the F430-based SP1), underneath this gold beauty is a Ferrari 599 chassis.

The P540 Superfast was built for Edward Walson, the son of John Walson, who invented cable TV. Walson commissioned the vehicle with inspiration coming from the Fantuzzi-designed Ferrari which appeared in the 1968 film Toby Dammit. It was designed by Pininfarina and built in-house in Maranello, with Walson taking part in the entire design process. While added bracing was required to maintain the chassis’ rigidity, plenty of carbon fiber panels were used to reduce the impact of the weight gain. In total, engineers managed to limit the added weight to just 44 lbs.

Like previous projects, the luxurious Ferrari’s engine remains untouched, with the factory 6.0-liter V12 producing a tremendous 612-hp.

Sometimes it’s hard not to be jealous at those lucky enough to own exotics from Ferrari or Lamborghini. It’s natural, we understand. But we gotta say, it’s extra tough when we see a Ferrari owner that’s able to take their F430 over to Underground Racing, pick out a twin turbo kit and throw down 1,000-hp.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been entertained by a video starring Underground Racing’s vehicles. Instead of a Lamborghini though, this time we’re treated with some exciting footage focused on the 1,000-hp creation. The video does a fantastic job highlighting the car itself and takes us through some of its dyno runs where we can hear the V8 in all its pure, unadulterated glory. Feast your eyes and ears guys and gals, this is the true way of owning an exotic.
