Based on the British automaker’s C-X16 concept, the all-new Jaguar F-Type sports car development has been accelerated based on all the positive feedback from the concept model. The F-Type will originally launch as a convertible, two-seater focused on rewarding its driver. Jaguar plans on offering a range of standard gasoline engines to power the F-Type, including a new powerplant family.
“That car will be called the F-Type, and it will be unveiled in production form later this year. The core appeal of Jaguar’s cars is their sporting heart, and that heart will beat stronger than ever before in the F-Type. Its development is a vivid representation of the confidence and ambition of the Jaguar brand, and the desire amongst our engineers and design team to produce a world-leader in a market segment that we have been absent from for too long. But no longer — the F-Type is coming,” said Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director of Jaguar Cars.
The F-Type is already on its final on-road testing phase and engineering prototypes are coming out of Jaguar’s Castle Brownwich plant which is where the production models will be produced. Full technical details and model ranges will be announced later this year. The F-Type will be on sale in mid-2013.
Hallmark also confirmed during the conference that the production model will be nearly identical to the concept we saw during last year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, a gallery of which you can click through below.

After multiple teasers, RAM has officially unveiled its 2013 1500 packed with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, with a 5.7L HEMI V8 as an option.
The new 3.6L V6 packs 42 percent more horsepower, 13 percent more torque and at least 20 percent better fuel economy compared to its 3.7L V6 predecessor, according to RAM. The new figures are 305-hp and 269 lb-ft and its fuel economy figures should be around 17-mpg city/24-mpg highway based on a 20 percent increase from the former 14-mpg city/24-mpg highway rating.

The Buick Enclave is the best selling three row luxury crossover in the business, and today the updated model was fully revealed to us at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
The exterior of the vehicle gains a new slightly more sculpted design as well as LED daytime running light and LED taillights. An all new front fascia, 19-inch or 20-inch wheels, new hood and grille and monochromatic color scheme with chrome highlights round out the new look of the vehicle.
All new ice blue LED interior cabin lighting is one of the features which adds to the Buicks premium feel. Other interior uprgades include soft touch materials with live stitching, new interior color combinations with wooden accents and and all new center stack. The stack will be include the new IntelliLink infotainment system which outfits the vehicle with the latest in technology, including Bluetooth connectivity, USB and Aux in ports, the capability to handle smart phone apps and navigation among others.
