With only 80 Ferrari 599 SA Apertas roaming around the world, it’s one of the rarest and most unique Ferraris around. Despite its limited production, Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso has announced a new tuning program for the SA Aperta that helps improve the exotic’s performance by 215-hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, giving it a total of 876-hp and 636 lb-ft of torque.

All the power comes courtesy of a twin-supercharger system by Novitec, helping make the 6.0L V12 a whole new monster. 0-62 mph is now an exhilarating 3.1 seconds while its top speed is now over 211-mph. In addition to the supercharger, Novitec outfits the SA Aperta with a stainless steel exhaust with black powdercoated tips. For wheels, Novitec recommends a pair of 21×10-inchers in the front while the rear gets a massive 22×12-inch setup. Novitec also has a set of sport springs that lowers the SA Aperta by almost 1-inch.

It may be called Concorso Italiano, but it might as well be the Ferrari Festival with prancing horses from all decades the overwhelming exotic car of choice at the annual event. Held the past several years at the Laguna Seca Golf Course, we’ve snapped just a selection of the incredible machinery on display in the hopes of providing a glimpse into just how extravagant this event really is.

Ah, what’s better than one Ferrari 458 Italia? How about a Novitec Rosso-modified Ferrari 458 Italia? How about two that look identical? Novitec Rosso decided the best way to a man’s heart wasn’t to grab their attention with just one hot, bright red and sexy 458, but with two outfitted with the same modifications. And even better, Novitec knew that photos just doesn’t cut it these days, especially when we’re talking about twins here, so they gave us a video of the bombshells…together of course.

Novitec Rosso’s 458 Italia tuning package bumps horsepower up by 39-hp by outfitting the 4.5L V8 with a new carbon fiber air box and Inconel exhaust system (which also weighs 46-lbs less than the factory unit) that is comprised of new manifolds, sport catalysts and rear muffler with control flap. Combined the bolt-ons with a newly remapped ECU and you’ve got a 458 Italia breathing as fiery as ever.

In addition to the performance gains, Novitec went through thorough wind-tunnel testing for their aerodynamic kit. The carbon fiber pieces are attached to existing body panels, with a subtle front lip, side flaps and wings, a rear spoiler and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. For wheels, Novitec chose their NF3 pieces to outfit the twins with a matching red and black paint scheme. Staggered with a set of 21×9-inch in the front while the rear receives a much wider and larger 22×12, Novitec pairs the wheels up with high-performance Pirelli rubber.

And of course, Novitec lowers the 458 Italia a solid 1.4-inches while incorporating a 1.6-inch front-end lift at the push of a button.

Check out a video of Novitec’s 458′s twins after the break.

Modified Ferraris and Novitec Rosso almost go hand-in-hand, with the tuner constantly paving the way for new packages for Ferrari models. Their modifications are always within the spirit of the automobile, never straying away with aggressive body lines and sharp edges. In short, Novitec Rosso packages tend to accentuate the already existing platform rather than change it entirely. Case in point: This Ferrari 458 Italia built by Street Concepts Elite in Orange County, CA (Novitec Rosso’s Orange County dealer).

The jet black Ferrari 458 Italia is beautiful off the assembly line but with the aid of Novitec Rosso’s suite of parts, it’s now breathtaking. Possibly the best aero kit that’s available for the Italia, Novitec’s package mixes carbon fiber with subtle styling. In addition, Street Concepts Elite outfitted the Italia with Novitec’s stylish NF3 wheels. Up front is a 21×9-inch setup while the rear receives a larger and wider 22×12-inch pairing.

Continuing their absolute dominance over the Ferrari aftermarket, Novitec has released photos and information on their 599 GTO 888 tuning program. Novitec Rosso is the first company to offer upgrades for Ferrari’s 599 GTO and it’s quite the complete project. With 888-hp (from 670-hp stock) and 636 ft-lbs of torque, Novitec clearly focused its attention on the powerplant and performance.

Taking the twin-compressor 6.0L V12 to new heights, Novitec optimized both superchargers and added a large water-to-air intercooler to cool the system. An intake manifold was also designed and manufactured and features high performance air filters and injectors.

Naturally, Novitec also outfits the 599 GTO with a high performance exhaust system that sports a quad-tipped setup coated in black. An ECU retune was done to ensure all the changes were optimized.

Aesthetically, Novitec kept it simple applying a special silver paint with yellow cross stripe and white patches, all reminiscent of Ferrari’s 250 GTO race car. Along with lowering the vehicle with Novitec’s suspension, a set of Novitec Rosso NF4 21-inch and 22-inch wheels were installed.

Interior upgrades can be ordered in any desired leather or Alcantara color combination.

novitec_rosso_ferrari_458_italia_1.jpg

Famed Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso will be debuting its rendition of the new 458 Italia at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Since the debut of Ferrari’s 458 Italia, several aftermarket manufacturers have revealed their own versions, but few can rival what Novitec Rosso brings to the table. With every exotic Ferrari model that’s been designed and manufactured, it’s a guarantee that Novitec finds a way to refine it towards automotive perfection. Their 458 Italia is no different, with an additional 39-hp (609-hp total) over stock, a staggered set of 21-inch/22-inch wheels and an aerodynamic kit thoroughly developed in the wind tunnel to maximize performance.

The 4.5L V8 receives its power boost thanks to a new carbon fiber airbox and high-performance exhaust system. The exhaust system includes high performance manifolds, sport catalysts and a rear muffler design featuring a control flap that can be adjusted through the Manettino button on the steering wheel. All this plus the weight savings from the new exhaust contribute to the performance gains, with the majority of the power gain coming from a new ECU retune.

Through wind tunnel testing, Novitec also developed a sleek carbon fiber aerodynamic kit for the 458 Italia. The front spoiler is simply attached to the factory front bumper while flaps are added to the right and left of the central air inlet to help minimize lift on the front axle. Wings and fender-mounted ventilation louvers (also made from carbon fiber) gives the Italia a sportier design, along with the carbon fiber mirror covers.

On the side, Novitec also designed new side skirts that create optimal airflow between the front and rear wheels. Speaking of the rear, the Italia is outfitted with a new spoiler and carbon fiber diffuser. Carbon fiber touches are also seen on the roof, engine hood, ventilation louvers and fog lamp surround.

For suspension, Novitec outfits the 458 with a set of their sport springs that lower the vehicle around 1.4-inches, while the front lift system can raise the car by 1.57-inches to avoid curbs and speed bumps. While many of Novitec’s wheels will probably fit the 458 Italia, they chose a custom set of NF3 rollers for this demo car. Up front is a 21×9-inch fitment while the rear is outfitted with 22×12-inch wheels.

Lastly, interior upgrades are available – fully catered to the needs of the customer of course. Leather and Alcantara upholstery is available along with carbon fiber accents in the cabin.

novitec_rosso_606_race_1.jpg

Novitec Rosso has taken Ferrari‘s front-engine California and outfitted it with a supercharged powerplant that brings performance to 606-hp (from 460-hp) and 444 ft-lbs of torque (from 357 ft-lbs) out of the 4.3L V8. The supercharged powerplant will be available from Novitec Rosso for the special Race 606 model and any standard California.

Along with the supercharger is a water-to-air intercooler, a new intake manifold and larger fuel injectors to ensure the 4.3L V8 stays adequately fuel-fed with the additional boost. Novitec then outfits the California with their stainless-steel exhaust system sporting four black-coated tips.

Horsepower wasn’t all that Novitec was after with the Race 606 California, as they took Ferrari’s famed exotic to the wind tunnel in order to develop some efficient and attractive aerodynamic pieces to complement the package. With essential pieces made from lightweight carbon fiber, the aerodynamic package includes front and rear spoilers, rear diffuser, rocker panel blades, side air outlets on the front fenders, mirrors covers, rear molding, hood center piece, radiator grille, and the outer skin on the folding hardtop and taillight surrounds.

For wheels, Novitec has outfitted the California with their three-piece NF3 wheels featuring a matte carbon fiber coating. The setup used on the Race 606 is a staggered set of 21×9 and 22×11.5 matched with Pirelli P-Zero rubber. Lowering the vehicle 1.37-inch is Novitec’s lowering kit which also allows the front end of the vehicle to be raised 1.57-inch to help navigate speed bumps.

Lastly interior upgrades can be specific through Novitec to further customize your California or Race 606 model.

Official press release available after the break.

novitec_abarth_500_1.JPG

With Fiat’s 500 about to hit dealers in North America, we’re about to see an influx of aftermarket tuners producing products for the Italian car and all its many variants.

Novitec, a famed Ferrari tuner, has taken the Italian hatch and added its own twist. Starting with Abarth’s high-performance version, Novitec is offering several different tuning packages that offer horsepower upgrades from 164-hp to 212-hp.

The packages are available for the 1.4L T-Jet 4-cylinder powerplant with their NT4-Corse taking center stage. Priced at close to $4,000 the kit comes complete with a new turbo, air filter and air intake box on the intake side. On the exhaust side, Novitec provides a new exhaust system. For fuel, bigger injectors and a fuel pressure regulator are included. And of course the ECU is upgraded with Novitec’s Powerjet 2 unit. The exhaust system is offered separately for those wanting just that for their Abarth 500.

Suspension upgrades are also available from Novitec from sport springs (that lowers the Abarth 500 approximately 1.37-inches) or full coilovers that come with stiffer shocks. For wheels, Novitec offers 17-inch or 18-inch N10 wheels in either silver polished or matte black finishes. The wheels start at $1,460. Those wanting an extra-aggressive setup, Novitec will accompany an 18×8-inch package for Abarth’s 500.

On the outside, Novitec has also developed a new front lip spoiler made of carbon fiber and the turn signals are tinted in black.

novitec_punto_1.jpg

Thought Novitec was just all about tuning exotic Ferraris? Think again. They have just announced their tuning package for Fiat’s Punto Evo, offering performance and aesthetic modifications for the 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter Punto Evo variants. And we have to say, as Fiat brings their 500 to America, we’re excited to see another option for Fiat tuning. Especially when it’s such a prestigious brand such as Novitec.

Starting with the exterior, Novitec is offering a complete body kit. This includes a front spoiler, side skirts, hood, rear bumper with diffuser and rear roof spoiler. In true Novitec fashion, nothing is overdone but rather kept subtle and clean, sleek and classy. Novitec also offers a coilover option that can lower the Punto Evo anywhere from 1.37-inch to 3-inch. Novitec also offers 17-inch and 18-inch wheel choices for the Fiat.

No Novitec package would be complete without its fair share of performance upgrades. Novitec keeps it fairly simple with basically an ECU upgrade available for the 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter power plants and an exhaust that’s available in 26 (yes, twenty-six) different combinations. If you want a single tip, dual tip or quad tip, Novitec has all 26 different types for you.

For around $560, Novitec will hook you up with their PowerJet 2 auxiliary control unit that takes the stock 1.4-liter from 135-hp and 152 ft-lbs of torque to 160-hp and 181 ft-lbs of torque. And we’re not quite sure why this is, but Novitec’s offering for the 1.6-liter is their Powerrail 5 module (right under $450) which takes the power output to 144-hp and 263 ft-lbs of torque. Our assumption is that the ECU upgrade has a ton more potential on the turbocharged 1.4-liter power plant than it does on the 1.6-liter MultiJet engine.

Sure Ferrari claims that a sedan won’t ever be in the works from them, but their 612 Scaglietti is a 2+2-seater. Debuting in 2003, it has never carried the fame of its counterparts, but Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso hopes to change that, dressing the 612 to impress with some nice aftermarket goodies.

Because a Ferrari alone isn’t enough to pick up three really skinny girls, you’ll need a nice set of wheels too. Novitec has designed custom versions of its popular three-piece NF3 wheels for the 612 Scaglietti.  It’s a staggered set of 20-inch up front and 21-inch in the rear, wrapped in 275/30/20 Pirelli P Zero rubber up front while at the rear is a nice and beefy 12.5-inch wide wheel with massive 335/25/21 tires. All that rubber is needed to keep you gripping the asphalt thanks to the addition of a few ponies. Novitec has increased the horsepower to 565 from the factory 540, while torque goes to 450 from 434.

The power increase comes courtesy of a reprogrammed ECU and Novitec Rosso’s stainless-steel exhaust system. The exhaust plays triple duty on the 612 Scaglietti: freeing up air and consequently increasing horsepower, giving the car a more menacing look in the rear and transforming the exhaust note to an even throatier, sportier sound.

It’s worth mentioning that a “black lamps” upgrade is available which comes with four round taillights, reflectors and side markers. On the inside, Novitec Rosso will upgrade the interior in a bespoke fashion for the client. Steering wheel customization is available from thickness to color.
