Over at kickstarter.com, ideas are brewing, looking for your hard-earned dollars to make dreams a reality. BlueDrone has come up with a concept to allow remote controlled cars to be, well, remotely controlled through Bluetooth technology. Stephen Mark is the founder of the concept, and hopes to produce many 1:20-scale Nissan GT-R Bluetooth-controlled (BC?) cars.

The idea of it is simple, allowing the owner to control their RC car through the use of an Android phone or tablet. Through the smartphone’s touchscreen or accelerometer, the owner will be able to zip and zoom through any parking lot of course with just their phone. The RC car requires 3 AA batteries to operate, and battery life can log three hours.

The cost to make this product a mass-produced reality? Mark’s looking for $200,000 in pledges – a lofty goal, for sure. But for $59, it’ll lock you a spot in line for the GT-R and the app once the project is complete, if he gets there.

Check out a promo video of the RC car after the break.

There have been many amazing Lego creations over the last few decades including life size people and skyscrapers several stories high, but this latest creation might just take the cake.

Documented in this video is a mechanical masterpiece, a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet PDK made of Lego. Everything on the 911 works, from the retractable hard top roof to the flat-six engine. The Porsche even has the same steering ratio as the actual car. In total, there are over 3,500 parts, including eight electic motors, three remote controls and around 21 feet of wiring. Even’s Porsche’s high-tech PDK dual-clutch transmission is fully functional, coupled to an operational all-wheel drive system.

This will blow you away. Check out the video after the jump!

Couldn’t get your hands on one of the 20 Lamborghini Reventóns in the world? Or just couldn’t afford the steep $1.25 million dollar price tag? Well have no fear, you can get your hands on a Lamborghini Reventón in remote controlled form thanks to De Agostini.

The 1:10 scale RC car is powered by a two-stroke 3cc gas engine with a two-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. To give the RC car the proper performance worthy of the Lamborghini tag, independent suspension, hydraulic shocks and disc brakes are also included.

The model is amazingly close to the real life vehicle with plenty of attention to detail. No pricing has been released, but production will be limited to 65 – roughly three times more than the real deal. We’re going to guess its limited production will make it worth a pretty penny.

In these trying economic times, companies have searched for new and brilliant ways of marketing and advertising their product to the general public. Let’s face it, many of us are pinching pennies and thinking twice, if not researching twice before making any sort of purchase over $10.00. In addition, with the way the Internet has developed in just the recent years, companies have turned to guerrilla-style marketing techniques, looking towards social networking and media to spread their message virally throughout the world. Nissan’s newest campaign is doing just that. It’s simply brilliant, while also low-budget and highly appealing to any automotive enthusiast.

Nissan Canada’s marketing agency TBWA Toronto has created a new SE-R R/C car drift video, aimed at drumming up interest in a “No Charge Sport Package” for the Sentra SE-R and Sentra SE-R Spec-V.

This Sport Package includes illuminated vanity mirrors, power glass moonroof, Rockford Fosgate 8-speaker audio system with XM Satellite Radio. It’s offered on the 2010 models for no additional cost for a limited time. It’s not the most exciting package, but the fact that Nissan is making a conscious and creative effort to market it to the masses is brilliant. It raises awareness on not just the Nissan brand, but definitely targets the right demographic for the Sentra by hitting the Internet.

If you need any more evidence, check out the video after the jump. If your inner child doesn’t jump out and scream, “This is cool!” then you need to re-check your pulse. Or perhaps you’re just lost on the Internet and have no real interest in cars.
