When the McLaren MP4-12C debuted, it was seen as a disappointment by many. Certainly the car’s performance was amazing, but not the Bugatti-beating numbers some had expected. That’s because it was never built as a Veyron rival but rather a Ferrari 458 killer. A proper successor to the McLaren F1 would come, however, and according to a new report by CAR Magazine, it will launch some time this year.

Powering the car, code named the P12, will be an up-rated version of the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 used in the MP4-12C, with one important change – KERS. Yes, the newest McLAren machine will utilize a kinetic energy recovery system, generating power under baking and then making that energy available in the form of electric boost on demand.

As for the chassis, it will reportedly be a similar structure to the MP4-12C as well, but with an even higher use of carbon for minimum weight.

Styling for the vehicle is said to be vastly more dramatic than the 12C (we certainly hope so), but with a conventional side-by-side cockpit, rather than a three-seat layout like the F1.

Pricing is said to be around $1.2 million.

If it’s  impossible, implausible or just plain awesome and you can’t have it in real life, there’s always going to be video games to let you live out the fantasy.

Amid the buzz building around the new Acura NSX, we can’t help but think to ourselves that it would be nice to just jump in and drive the thing. No waiting around, just instant gratification like a kid in Toys-R-Us. The good news is, as you get older the toys tend to get way cooler and in this case more accessible.

Polyphony Digital, the creators behind the wildly successful Gran Turismo racing game series, have released a video featuring both the old and new versions of the Acura NSX ripping around a track. In addition to teasing the distinct possibility that Playstation 3 owners may soon get to “drive” the NSX, it features some of the key details released at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, including the fact that the car is a mid-mounted V6 hybrid using three electric motors. Gamers, power up your consoles.

If you thought the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was the last and most impressive iteration of the world’s fastest car, think again. The exotic automaker is reportedly planning one more final edition model, a convertible.

The newest drop-top Veyron will combine the best of the Grand Sport convertible with the more powerful 1,200 hp Super Sport’s W16 engine – Grand Super Sport anyone? While it’s unlikely the car will be able to achieve the same 268 mph world record top speed of the coupe, it’s almost certain to be the world’s fastest convertible.

According to some reports, Bugatti has already taken orders for the car, which is expected to be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in early March.

It’s no secret that Audi is looking to launch a second generation Audi R8 supercar in Spring 2014, a car that it will be lighter and more powerful than the current model.

Besides adopting a multi-material inner structure, which includes carbon fiber for parts such as the transmission tunnel, B-pillars and engine firewall, the new R8 will also feature a 450 horsepower 4.2-liter V8, while the optional V10 motor will be hiked in output to around 550 hp.

There’s also a possibility that in effort to better comply with upcoming fuel economy standards, the V10 will be substituted for a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, similar to that which recently made its debut in the Bentley Continental. In addition, Audi also plans to market a limited run electric version, dubbed the RSe, aimed at buyers who want performance while maintaining a relatively health conscience.

Other features slated to be part of the 2014 R8 include a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission rather than the current 6-speed single clutch unit (no manual gearbox will be offered) a simpler MMI driver interface and variable intensity LED lights. Along with the loss of the stick-shift, Audi is also expected to make a major style change, dropping the trademark sideblades.

A Lamborghini Gallardo cousin will reportedly make its debut slightly ahead of the R8, with a roadster version of the latter due around 2015.

Back in the 1950s and ’60s, when you bought or ordered a Ferrari, being able to select individual colors, features or options was virtually par for the course, a big reason why today, survivors from that era tend to fetch huge money when they come up for sale.

Now, Maranello has launched a new bespoke cosmetic program, that aims to build on those age-old traditions of customer excellence and exclusivity. Called “Tailor Made,” it allows Ferrari clients to essentially personalize every last interior and exterior detail of their new car, with assistance from a Personal Designer who works with them through the entire selection and creation process, right up to the point at which the customer takes delivery.

In fact, customers are actively encouraged to visit the Ferrari facilities where they can browse different materials and concepts, as well as preview the final results of their selection. They can even collect their completed car from Maranello personally if they so choose.

The Tailor Made program embodies three distinct elements;

Scuderia, a race inspired category which provides customers with such options as carbon-fibre trim, rubberized leather, Alcantara, chamois and other such finishes such as diamond quilted fabric (inspired by such a pattern found on the 1957 250 Testa Rossa), as well as specific exterior colors and even, racing stripes, such as those found on original North American Racing Team (NART) cars.

Classica, which includes pastel colors inspired from Ferrari exterior hues of the past, along with traditional materials such as rich wools, cashmere, leather, or velvet.

And finally, Inedita, which takes an experimental approach, combining new themes with traditional ones,  such as as offering a novel range of materials, like as denim or suit fabric, for upholstery.

With sales of the MC4-12C now well underway in Europe, McLaren has reportedly begun testing on its new hypercar and successor to the F1.

Targeting the world’s most exotic exotics, the “mega-Mac” is being benchmarked against cars like the Veyron, as well as the upcoming models like the successor to the Enzo and the Porsche 918 Spider.

According to AutoCar, first tests of the car took place in Spain last month.

Rumored to power the supercar is a 5.0-liter V8 engine making just shy of 800-hp – or roughly 160-hp per liter. A 7-speed dual clutch transmission is also expected to be a part of the package. In addition, look for a pushrod suspension setup, five-stage traction control system, a carbon fiber tub and active aerodynamics.

Priced at close to one million dollars, McLaren is expected to build just 500 units over a four year period.

Expected to arrive some time next year, the successor to the Ferrari Enzo could make use of hybrid technology admits company CEO Amedeo Felisa.

Speaking at the launch of the new 458 Spider, Felisa admitted as much and even confirmed that Ferrari is currently testing prototype hybrids. While still a stretch at this point, Ferrari has used Enzo and its predecessors like the F50 and F40 to launch new technologies, with the F50 being the first to utilize a carbon fiber chassis.

The ‘F70′ will continue to use a carbon fiber base, confirms Felisa, as well as a mid-engined V12 for motivation.

That V12 could be joined with a Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS), a technology that Ferrari developed for use in its F1 cars. This would also continue Ferrari’s long-standing tradition of using the pinnacle of motorsports to develop technologies for its road cars.

As for the rest of the Ferrari lineup Felisa commented that carbon fiber tubs or monocoques will not be used, maintaining that the cost and risks are simply too big to justify for standard production models.

Shelby Supercars Tuatara 01.JPG

Looking very much like it belongs there, the Shelby Supercars (SSC) Tuatara has been shown for the first time in North America on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

With SSC’s previous model, the Ultimate Aero TT, having been highly criticized for its kit-car looks, the American supercar maker hired the talents of Jason Castriota (formerly of Pininfarina) to design what SSC claims will be the world’s fastest car. Powered by a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the car will reportedly make as much as 1,350-hp. With a curb weight of 2,654 lbs it should hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 275 mph.

SSC’s previous supercar hit a top speed of 257-mph, taking the title of the world’s fastest production car from the Bugatti Veyron. Bugatti has since reclaimed the title, however, with a 267-mph run.

Because owning the world’s fastest car just isn’t enough for some people, Bugatti has crafted the Grand Sport L’Or Blanc.

The supercar’s body isn’t just unique because of its looks, but because of what it’s made from, with porcelain used for the body and throughout the passenger compartment.

Built in collaboration with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, it’s said to reflect Bugatti’s desire to not only be unique, but to explore new the use of new materials in vehicle design and creation. Plus, we hear it makes a mean Earl Grey.

Is it the world’s most expensive car? Perhaps. With a price tag f $2.4 million it’s certainly worth more than Gram’s tea pot.

There are supercars, and then there are supercars. Sure the Bugatti Veyron holds the world record for the fastest production car, but as impressive as that is, it will never hold the hearts of auto enthusiasts like the Ferrari F40.

If those similar yet different vehicles represent two distinct categories of supercar, the Pagani Zonda falls in the latter. Built in Italy, the Zonda is a true exotic and makes even the Enzo seem as common as a Camry by comparison. (Pagani built just 12 Zondas a year during the car’s run).

But the ultimate Zonda is the “R”, a track-only special model that weighs just 2,359 lbs. Powered by a 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine that makes an incredible 750-hp and 524 ft-lbs of torque, the Zonda R can hit 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and holds the Nurburgring record for production-based cars at 6:47.

But perhaps more amazing than all these statistics is how that big AMG V12 engine sounds, especially mated to a sequential shift box. Video of the Zonda R on track has surfaced before, but listening to this engine never gets old. This latest clip shows the car on track (with the Huayra, the Zonda’s successor) at Adria International Speedway in Northern Italy. Behind the wheel is former F1 driver Andrea Montermini. Turn your speakers up and enjoy!

Turns out, being rich and looking good ain’t enough to get you by in this business. The Pagani Huayra has to step in line with the proletariat: just because it’s a six-figure, low-volume supercar, doesn’t grant it an exemption from America’s airbag regulations.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stopped giving waivers to their airbag safety regulation which is now 11 years old. As such, Pagani will need to invest over 4 million Euros in bringing its airbags up to spec, which include adjusting deployment speed based on weight sensors in the seats.

Currently, the only companies with waivers are Tesla, for its Roadster (which expires this year with its end of production) and Lamborghini (whose waiver expired in February). Pagani planned to only sell 5 cars in America next year, but they’ll have to still play ball like everyone else. As such, they assert that without a waiver, they won’t be able to sell cars in America until 2015. “Although Pagani has realized profits in recent years, the company asserted that immediate compliance with the advanced air-bag requirements will cause substantial economic hardship,” said a notice issued by NHTSA. Pagani estimates that lost sales during that period will total $4.5 million.

Given the likelihood of exotic cars and the lack of talent among their owners, however, Pagani may need to swallow this bitter medicine in the end. It’s for your own good, remember?

05-2012-lamborghini-aventador-fd-1304055515.jpg

You’d think Lamborghini, masters of Italian seduction, would have the good sense to tease us a bit. Maybe don’t give us the goods so soon, and all that. But no, it seems like they’re laying it all out there for us: Lamborghini is going to build a range-annihilating SV model of its Aventador, and approximately 3 people on this planet will be caught off-guard by the news.

After all, the Diablo had one, and so did the Murcielago. And with rumors of the Aventador roadster already clogging up Lamborghini PR inboxes, Top Gear’s already jumped the gun and cooked up some renderings, as well as some predictions: based on previous power ranges for the Murcielago and SV models, the future Aventador SV should have around 800 horsepower and sell for about $600,000.

Given that the current Aventador already sports 690 horsepower and a 0-60 time of under 3 seconds, we expect Lamborghini to try even harder with the SV model. Maybe a couple of turbines, bolted to the roof? A Hughes M230 single-barrel 30mm chain gun with high explosive incendiary rounds underneath the hood? An under-seat espresso machine? An Alcantara Snuggie? C’mon Lamborghini, give us something to truly surprise us with.

The Hennessey Venom GT is easily one of the craziest street-legal cars ever produced. It is based on the underpinnings of the lightweight Lotus Exige, but then beefed up in every conceivable way.

Instead of the Exige’s supercharged four-cylinder motor, the Venom GT has a twin-turbo charged LS9, displacing 6.2-liters and producing a barely believable 1200-hp and 1155 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo 6-speed gearbox.

Performance, as you’d imagine, is quite extraordinary. This 2,400 lb. machine can rocket from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and onto a proposed top speed of 267 mph. More impressively, it can sprint from 0-200 mph 15.9 seconds (a Bugatti Veyron covers that sprint in 24.2 seconds).

The Venom GT is truly an astonishing performance car, and the very first one ever made can be yours. Hennessey Performance has put the car up for sale, and are asking $1.3-million for it. So if you have the means, and have a neighbor who always beats you at the traffic lights with his Veyron, then this is the car for you.

chinese_exotic_car_wedding.jpg

Apparently a new trend has been set in China. If you’re wealthy and getting married, better whip out every supercar exotic you can get your hands on and take them out on the street. This particular wedding, in Wenzhou, featured 28 exotic supercars from Ferrari’s 458 Italia to Bentley’s Flying Spur.

At first, it was fun to watch all the supercars parade around for a wedding, but now many local Chinese are finding it a tad repulsive. As with any country experiencing an abundant of wealth, the separation from lower to middle class and middle class to upper class starts to widen. Without surprise some aren’t finding it as amusing as others back in China. As for us? We can’t wait until someone rolls out their own wedding entourage with millions of dollars worth of exotics.

Check out the video after the break.

In the market for a rare and exotic piece of Italian machinery? Then how about the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

Lamborghini has yet to officially confirm that its carbon fiber concept car will see production, but that might be irrelevant at this point as Symbolic Motor Car Company in San Diego, California has announced it is accepting orders for the carbon chassis Gallardo. According to the company’s website just three of the cars have been earmarked for the U.S. They even list a delivery date of July 15.

Thought to be a track-only exotic the Sesto Elemento is named after the sixth element in the periodic table of the elements – carbon. This is due to the extensive use of light-weight carbon fiber, that allows the car to weigh just over 2,200 lbs. When combined with the Gallardo’s 562-hp 5.2-liter V10 engine, Lambo claims a 0-62-mph time of just 2.5 seconds – faster than even the new Aventador.

To order yours today, visit Symbolic Motors here.

Bugatti Veyron Salvage 01.JPG

You could be the proud regretful owner of a Bugatti Veryron, for what is certain to be a fraction of the cost of a new model. No, we’re not talking about a Fiero kit car, but a real Veyron. There’s just one issue, it’s got a salvage title given by the insurance company when the owner famously confused it with a submarine.

Likely you recall the story (and video) of the Veyron that wound up in a Texas lake in 2009. You might also recall that this wasn’t even fresh water, but that ultra-corrosive salt water. Worse still, the owner kept the car running – although its not clear if the engine was ruined.

The car is technically a write-off however, meaning that the insurer saw the price of repairing it as more than the car is worth. And when you consider it retails for roughly $1.5 million when it was new – that’s one seriously expensive accident.

From the outside it doesn’t look half bad, apart from a missing headlight and the Bugatti badge that’s falling off. Treat those as an omen, however, as inside the wiring looks to be a mess and some shots show the salt water has already begun its rusty journey to return the Veyron to its more basic elements.

Not scared away? Then hit the link below to bid. Offers are being accepted until Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 02.jpg

Described by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman as “a jump of two generations in terms of design and technology,” the new Aventador LP700-4 has now officially been revealed as the successor to the famed Murcielago.

Rising from the level of an exotic to a true supercar, the LP makes 700-hp from a V12 engine, powering a machine built almost entirely of carbon fiber, while using a racecar-style pushrod suspension, the company’s impressive AWD system, as well as a compact and emotional ISR single-clutch gearbox.

The monstrously large machine is now 6-inches longer than the car it replaces while being just fractions of an inch less wide. Yet for all its amazing attributes, the carbon fiber monocoque chassis is perhaps the most astounding, allowing the Aventador to weigh just under 3,500 lbs in its dry weight form.

While the chassis is revolutionary, the design itself is somewhat evolutionary, a development of the fighter-jet looks we first saw with the Reventon. The Aventador takes cues from that car as well as from the Estoque sedan concept, and retains the scissor doors that Lambos have become famous for. Another stylistic item, that’s also very functional, is the exterior vents on the car that open and close depending on when (and how much) cooling is needed.

As mentioned, power comes from a 6.5-liter V12 engine, with a total of 700-hp on tap, as well as 509 lb-ft, and when combined with AWD propels the new Lambo flagship to 62-mph in a mere 2.9 seconds.

Part of that speed it also attributable to what Lambo calls its Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) transmission, which can swap gears in just 50 ms in a special Corsa mode, delivering a more impressive shift feel than a double-clutch unit while also weighing significantly less.

Inside it’s pure luxury with a new TFT-LCD screen for the dash instead of analog instruments. It even features what Lamborghini terms a “Drive Select Mode System” that allows the driver to adjust vehicle settings (including engine, transmission, differential, steering and stability control) to one of three pre-determined setups: Strada, Sport and Corsa.

With the first deliveries set to occur late this Summer, the Aventador has an understandably exotic price tag: $379,700.

Check back for live photos of the Aventador LP700-4 Tuesday, March 1st and see all of AutoGuide’s 2011 Geneva Auto Show coverage here.

Koenigsegg Agera R 11.JPG

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has found a way to make 1,115 horsepower look even more impressive than it sounds, (well, sounds to say anyway), thanks to a matte-white and exposed dry carbon body.

We’ve acquired these shots of the latest Koenigsegg, the Agera R, on display at the Geneva Auto Show a day ahead of its world premiere. But it’s what’s underneath that body that really matters.

Known for supercharged V8s, the modern Koenigseggs use turbocharged versions, with this specific model pumping out 1,115-hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. That’s only if you’re burning E85, however, and with 95 octane it produces ‘just’ 940-hp.

No yet on the display car, an earlier press release noted it would appear with a carbon fiber ski box made by Thule. Why? Probably because Thule paid them to, or because the owner of the car probably also owns Thule. Who really cares?

Check out all the pics in the gallery below.

When you’ve got a car that will do 0-60 mph in well under four seconds and top more than 200 mph, it’s probably a good idea to learn how to drive it, or at least explore some of its capabilities without coming a cropper.

Lexus agrees, which is why the brand is going to offer what it calls a ‘driver development’ program for customers who take delivery of the LFA supercar . The program, which is a one-day affair, is scheduled to take place at Infineon Raceway (formerly Sears Point) in Sonoma, California from March 8-15.

Included are racing theory sessions, technical demonstrations, as well as performance limit exercises and plenty of track time, with coaching by professional motorsports drivers and instructors.

“This program offers a unique opportunity to experience the 552 horsepower Lexus LFA supercar in its natural environment,” declared group vice president and Lexus General Manager Mark Templin.

“Once you’ve driven the LFA on a race track, you can really appreciate this engineering accomplishment” he said.  “Track time with the LFA will change all preconceived ideas of what a supercar should be.”  No doubt it will.

Lamborghini has released a single teaser image of its upcoming supercar. Clad in spy-photog camo, it gives us the best look yet at exactly how the successor to the Murcielago will look, with a shape similar to that of the current model, but with even sharper angles, reminiscent of the Reventon.

Powering the new Lambo will be a 6.5-liter V12 rated at roughly 690-hp. It will be 18 percent more powerful than the Murcielago, while also emitting 20 percent fewer emissions. As for the transmission, Lamborghini will make use of its new ISR 7-speed transmission – the first use of a 7-speed with a V12 in the industry. With five gear settings, (auto strada, auto sport, strada, sport and corsa) the innovative transmission will be able to deliver shift times of just 50 ms in Corsa – which is almost as quick as a Formula 1 car.

Weight will be kept to a minimum thanks to a carbon fiber chassis and the LP700-4 will get a pushrod suspension setup, similar to those found on race cars.

As for the rest of the car, it will be more ergonomic than even the Gallardo, with space for larger drivers. The dash will feature a new TFT instrument cluster, meaning that it won’t have traditional physical gauges, but that all instrumentation will be displayed on a screen.

The Aventador is set to debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Until then, see AutoGuide’s complete 2011 Geneva Auto Show Preview here.

Undeniably those that are able to afford the limited quantity Lexus LFA, probably have some expendable income to customize their Japanese supercar. Lexus North America has been making a strong push in marketing the LFA to the affluent and now they have a boost thanks to CEC, with their announcement of three different tuning packages available to LFA Nurburgring edition owners.

CEC has high hopes for their LFA tuning packages, hoping to build “the most expensive and rarest of all the LFA supercars that Lexus will manufacturer and sell worldwide,” according to Sherif Yassa, Vice President of CEC.

The focus of the tuning packages will mainly be on the aesthetic, which is a safe bet given how finely tuned the LFA’s powerplant is. Lexus has reported to us that the Nurburgring edition LFA will have 10-hp more than the standard LFA thanks to further development by Lexus’ engineers.

There are no images of the package available yet, but to get a better look at CEC’s light weight forged wheels on the LFA, hit the link below.

39-pagani-huayra.jpg

When you make machines as exotic, powerful and achingly beautiful as Pagani does, coming up with an encore is a tall order. The maker of ultra-rare exotics has, however, decided to do just that announcing that the Huayra would be the official successor to the Zonda. Now Pagani has revealed its latest destroyer of Prancing Horses and Raging Bulls well ahead of the car’s planned debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

Details are still sketchy from the translated press release, but it’s clear that the Huayra makes over 700-hp and above 737 ft-lbs of torque from an Mercedes AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12. Power makes it to the ground at the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

No 0-60 mph time has been provided (and it’s mostly irrelevant anyway) as the machine is able to reach speeds of 230-mph. And weighing under 3,000 lbs thanks to a carbon-titanium monocoque, it’s certain to be an absolutely incredible track machine.

Outside, it’s hard to miss the catfish mouth that far less appealing than the timeless design of the Zonda. The Huayra also gets gullwing doors. The interior is typical Pagani extravagance, bordering on hideous, with enough carbon fiber to appease anyone and some stunning metal trim and cool blue lighting.

01-lamborghini-aventador-suspension.jpg

The successor to the Murcielago is shaping up to be an outrageous performance machine. Sporting a 690-hp 6.5-liter V12 engine and a complete carbon fiber monocoque, Lamborghini has now officially confirmed that the new supercar will be the first series production machine to get a pushrod suspension.

Rather than a conventional setup, the pushrod suspension is the very same design used in Formula 1 or Le Mans prototype cars, dividing the work of controlling the wheel and the appropriate amount of damping. This also allows for reduced spring rates, improving comfort. Like the Murcielago, the new model will retain the front-end lift feature, that allows for an additional 40mm of clearance.

The car will ride on 19-inch wheels with 255/35/19 tires up front and 335/30/19 tires in the rear.

Back at the Detroit Auto Show, Lambo execs informed us that the new car, rumored to be called the Aventador LP700-4, will keep the current cars DNA, retaining scissor doors, AWD and the current models massive air intakes. The 18-percent more powerful V12 will be mated to an ISR 7-speed transmission – the first use of a 7-speed with a V12 in the industry. With five gear settings, (auto strada, auto sport, strada, sport and corsa) the innovative transmission will be able to deliver shift times of just 50 ms in Corsa – which is almost as quick as a Formula 1 car.

As for the rest of the car it will be more ergonomic than even the Gallardo, with space for larger drivers. The dash will feature a new TFC instrument cluster, meaning that it won’t have traditional physical gauges, but that all instrumentation will be displayed on a screen.

Stay tuned for the official debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March and see AutoGuide’s complete 2011 Geneva Auto Show preview here.

Mention the name Bugatti and almost everyone will utter the name Veyron. We can’t blame them either since the Veyron was the first production car to have a power output of over 1000-hp, and in its Super Sport guise managed to hit 268-mph, making it the fastest production car in the world.

The Veyron is quite a phenomenal car, but before it, there was another Bugatti that was appearing on the cover of car magazines all over the world. It was called the EB110, and it was one of the fastest and most advanced cars of the 1990s.

The EB110 was built when the company was resurrected by an Italian businessman, Romano Artioli. During his ownership of the brand, many concept cars were made, but only the EB110 ever made it to production. However, there were two models of the EB110, the GT which had 552-hp, and the SS which had 650-hp. According to its brochure, the 3.5-liter, V12, quad-cam, quad-turbo EB110SS could launch from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and hit 217 mph flat out.

The GT version was slightly slower but had more creature comforts, while the SS was lighter and had fewer amenities. However, if you asked nicely – or paid generously, you could have the mixture of the two, and these cars are extremely rare. But they exist and we have found one such example in glamorous Dubai.

This bright red sled has covered just 324-miles since its birth in 1995, and looks to be very well stored. As for the price, the website didn’t mention, but we made the call and found out it’s a very reasonable $500,000. A bargain compared to a new Veyron SS, which will set you back $2.4-million.

Since it is Christmas time, we can’t think of a better present than this EB110. Aren’t we easy to shop for?
