Love Me or Love Me Not?
Love is in the air; either that or exhaust fumes mixed with a whiff of burnt transmission fluid. Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day and people around the world are hugging, kissing and handing out heart-shaped boxes of chocolate. But how boring is that? This holiday is a bigger cliché than every Disney princess movie combined and raised to the power of a Jared jewelry commercial.
Upping the excitement factor here’s a list of five vehicles you might be interested in “dating” and five you could actually “marry;” each one is fun in its own special way but they’re not all keepers. You know, as enamored as you were of that cocktail waitress in Vegas you probably wouldn’t want to introduce her to your parents or show her off at church.
Since hitting the market in 2009, the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has gained plenty of steam and is now one of the fastest-turning vehicles in the industry.

We are back with this week’s installment of AutoGuide’s newest, interactive weekly feature “Commute, Toy or Destroy.”
The automotive industry is a global business that is constantly evolving and growing, and we here at AutoGuide know it can be hard to keep up sometimes. So here is a summary of the top stories you may have missed this week:
What do you get when you take a Formula Drift champion, a video camera, and a website editor that has no fear? Apparently the video that’s available after the jump. Wrecked Magazine teamed up with Vaughn Gittin Jr. out in Las Vegas with a Ford F150 SVT Raptor to reach all new heights – recording it, of course, to share with the rest of the world.
Knowing just how bold of a driver Gittin is, handing him the keys of an F150 SVT Raptor and access to the CORR Truck Track at Las Vegas Speedway, most of us could conjure up the result in our minds. And absolutely nothing less than what’s expected is what’s seen on the video.
As far as Wrecked Magazine is considered, they may have filmed the highest jump an SVT Raptor has ever made in stock form. Despite all of the work and abuse the truck took at the track, they drove it home safely from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, a great testament to just how tough Ford tough is.
Check out the video after the break.

The forced-induction experts at ProCharger have just announced a supercharger system for the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor – as though the 6.2-liter V8 with 411-hp wasn’t potent enough. The result is nearly a 200-hp increase, with the centrifugal supercharger pushing the Raptor to 600-hp on pump gas.
ProCharger also didn’t ignore the 5.4L V8 owners; they have a kit that pumps horsepower up to 505. ProCharger’s kits all come complete with the supercharger, air-to-air front mount intercooler, larger fuel injectors and an ECU reflash. Best of all, the supercharger fits nicely under the stock hood and really does look quite OEM-ish. The kits boost around 8-9 psi.
Two kits are available for each model, a standard system and a Tuner Kit (comes without larger fuel injectors and ECU reflash). Standard System for the 6.2-liter is $6,496 while the Tuner Kit is $5,646; the 5.4-liter kit is $5,996 and $5,446 respectively.
