Porsche has just announced that it will offer a new sport exhaust system for the Carrera and Traga4 models that will give drivers the ability to increase the volume of their Porsche by the flick of a switch.

The new system features modified stainless-steel main silencers with internal flaps that are activated by a button on the center console. At the push of a button the exhaust will give a more “sporting” (rear, louder and more raw) sound. The system will also feature unique tailpipes.

The new system will be offered as of February as an option for new models and will also be offered as a retrofit part as a part of Porsche’s Tequipment range of parts.

US pricing is not yet available but the new Porsche Sport Exhaust will retail for $3,410 Canadian.
