If you’re looking to buy tires for your SUV or truck, but don’t know what to look for, you’re in luck. The third installment of Yokohama’s Tire Tips video series has just been released and focuses on SUV and truck tires.

Hosted off-road racing champions Cameron and Heidi Steele, the “how to choose a truck/SUV tire” video is the latest of these short educational videos that help drivers learn more about tires, from proper maintenance to improving fuel efficiency. Other video topics have covered the importance of properly inflated tires and how to read the sidewall of a tire.

“It’s not easy trying to figure out what type of truck tire to get,” said Paul Algarin, Yokohama Tire product analyst. “As Cameron and Heidi explain, there are many factors to consider, including size, tread, performance and comfort. And who better to give truck tire tips than off-road stars like Cameron and Heidi? Their explanations are engaging and easy to understand.”

Other topics to be covered soon include ways to achieve better fuel efficiency, judging tread wear and choosing the correct winter tire. Watch for the next video that will come out this September. Watch the latest video after the jump:

Are you tired of not knowing anything about your tires? Then it’s a good thing that Yokohama Tire Corporation has just release the second installment of Tire Tips.

A series of short educational videos designed to help consumers learn more about tires, Tire Tips has already covered the importance of properly inflated tires, and is now tackling the issue of how to read the sidewall of your tires. Hosted by off-road racing champion and TV commentator Cameron Steele, viewers will gain insights on keeping their vehicle running in tip-top shape by knowing the importance of tire maintenance and safety.

“Most consumers don’t fully understand what all the numbers and letters mean on a tire’s sidewall,” said Fred Koplin, Yokohama Tire director, marketing communications. “Cameron and Yokohama employee Paul Algarin explain everything in an entertaining way that’s easy to follow and understand. That’s the reason we are producing these videos: to teach consumers about all aspects of tires, including care and maintenance.”

The second video follows on the heels of Tire Safety Week, which took place June 6-12. Other videos to look forward to in the near future include ways to achieve better fuel efficiency and how to pick the right tire for your vehicle. Watch for the third video in the series to hit the web in August and check out this second instalment in the Tire Tips series after the jump:
