Do you like redundancy? Do you like fast cars? Then you’ll love the latest special edition Bugatti, which features the automaker’s name in it… twice.
Bugatti is paying homage to its founder, Ettore Bugatti, by bringing a custom yellow and black Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport to the 2012 Qatar Motor Show. The horizontally-split yellow body with black carbon represents Ettore Bugatti’s favorite colors and shows of Bugatti’s continued tradition off different color schemes and materials to create unique cars.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the world’s fastest, most powerful and most luxurious open-top car and this yellow and black creation surely gives it a race-inspired look. On the inside, the seats are finished in a yellow-colored leather with black stitching while the center console is in black carbon and the dashboard, steering wheel and gearshift are made of black leather with yellow stitching.
Bugatti also confirmed that the Veyron Coupe’s production has ended, with the final order placed in June 2011. The Grand Sport however is limited to 150 units with 105 still available at around $1.8-million.

Bugatti debuted a trio of special edition Veyron Grand Sports for the Middle East at the Dubai International Motor Show, each sporting a unique two-tone color scheme with a matching or contrasting interior theme. Each sport a horizontal color split aimed to “honor the very important Middle East market”.
The first of the three sport a yellow top body and a black carbon underside, contrasted by black tinted wheels. On the inside it packs a flamboyant yellow leather interior with black stitching. The scheme can also be seen on the dashboard, steering wheel and gearshift. Price? A mere $2.15 million.
The second Veyron Grand Sport Middle East Edition features a blue carbon top with a polished anodized aluminum bottom. This special edition Grand Sport is further set off by a set of aluminum polished Diamond Cut wheels with a two-tone finish. For the inside, the interior features a contrasting tangerine leather while the door panels, dashboard, steering wheel and console are finished in a dark blue Indigo leather or carbon fiber. That one’s available for just $2.36 million or so.
Lastly, at the same price of $2.36 million or so, one can get a green carbon fiber with polished aluminum Veyron Grand Sport. The rims, rearview mirrors and logos are also finished in polished aluminum. On the inside, green and silver leather matches the exterior two-tone theme.

If you’re in the market for a Bugatti Veyron and cannot decide between the current Grand Sport targa-top or the ultra fast Super Sport version, you would then ideally prefer to have a mixture of the two. However, Bugatti will not sell you such a beast.
In an interview with a Dutch magazine, Wolfgang Dürheimer, the current CEO of Bugatti and Bentley has said that it is not possible to integrate the two. He added that the Super Sport has very fine tuned aerodynamics, which will not be applicable to an open-top car. And while the Grand Sport did receive extra structural rigidity, the all carbon-fiber monocoque of the Super Sport is even stiffer.
There’s also the matter of engine cooling. The Super Sport has unique NACA-style ducts, which cannot be incorporated into the Grand Sport.
However, if you still want more than 1001-hp in your open-top Bugatti, Dürheimer says that while 1200-hp of the Super Sport might not be possible, but something in the middle would be doable.
Bugatti plans on building 150 examples of the Grand Sport, of which only 40 have been sold. So expect to see some special edition versions being announced to fill the remaining order forms.

With so many color combinations that Bugatti has to offer, you’d think almost every Veyron Grand Sport out there is a one-off. But there is truly a completely unique and one-off Grand Sport in the world, called the Sang Blanc, and it features an exotic Bianco Canopus Matt exterior finish. And now the matte white pearl Grand Sport is up for sale with just 448 miles on the odometer.
The Sang Blanc was originally built for a customer in the UK, but with a left-hand drive configuration. Contrasting the matte white pearl exterior are some black detailed accessories including the front grille, brake calipers, door handles, engine covers, roof rail and exhaust tips. It’s a 2010 model and comes with the infamous 8.0L W16 powerplant with quad-turbochargers and 1001-hp.

As if Bugatti’s Veyron Grand Sport wasn’t extravagant or unique enough, the ultra-exotic auto manufacturer has unveiled a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle dubbed the L’Or Blanc. In collaboration with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, this Veyron Grand Sport features porcelain on its body and in its cabin. Stop rubbing your eyes, the most unusual material imaginable that can be used on a car has found its way on one of the world’s fastest convertibles.
True to Bugatti form though, the utilization of porcelain really stands for an experiment with new materials, something Ettore Bugatti exemplified. Presented in Berlin, the L’Or Blanc can claim to be the world’s fastest porcelain and carries a price tag of $2.4 million based on today’s conversion rates.
And really, as crazy as the utilization of porcelain is, its the unique blue and white-swirled exterior finish on the L’Or Blanc that really sets it apart from the crowd.

After tinkering around with Bugatti’s extensive online configurator for their Veyron, we find it hard to believe anyone special ordering their Veyron would end up with an identical one as someone else. But as if a ridiculously high number of combinations weren’t enough, Bugatti has released two more special edition Veyrons out in Shanghai featuring unique color and trim combinations.
The special edition Grand Sport, Veyron’s convertible, features a matte white with blue carbon fiber combination. On the inside, matching blue interior with white stitching can be seen. While that may be cool enough for some, what’s really awesome is the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport for China. The 1,100-hp Super Sport features a carbon black exterior while the interior is a mix of Snow Beige and Beluga Black. Carbon fiber continues in the interior as accents as well.
No pricing was announced, but Bugatti is well aware of how ripe China’s market is for exotic supercars. One of their 16.4 Super Sport’s has already been sold to a customer in China.
Official press release available after the break.
