Lexus apparently loaned an LFA supercar to skateboarding legend Tony Hawk for a few days, but after seeing the shenanigans that Hawk does with the rare Lexus, they may reconsider sending him another loaner vehicle.
Unintended acceleration is back, this time involving a Hyundai instead of a Toyota. At least that’s what it looks like in a video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday that has already almost gathered a million views.
Burnouts are an awesome, and expensive way to waste tires. Of course, the competitors in burnout contests know this, but none would expect what happens in this video.
Don’t think the new BMW M5, or M3 are performance oriented enough? BMW apparently knows the feeling, and is teasing new versions of the M3 Coupe and M5 Sedan.
Cadillac is releasing its new XTS sedan to market soon, and to preview the car to the public the company has released a new commercial.
Catrinel Menghia, the lingerie model who starred in the Fiat brand’s sexy Super Bowl ad is back in several new spots for the Italian automaker.
Helping promote the new Fiat 500 Abarth performance model, the ad was a clear indication of a change in gears from the automaker, after dropping its female US brand boss and its female-targeted J-Lo ads for some sex appeal directed right at a male audience.
Are they as good as the original? Are you going to watch them anyway no matter what we say? Of course you are. So stop reading and start watching below:
Lexus‘ new design language is catching attention. The spindle grille and more aggressive styling is serving to take what was becoming a bland-looking brand into a newly vital luxury line.
Update: The price referred to in this story does not reflect American pricing. We now know that the Juke-R will cost around $590,000 in U.S. dollars.
In a surprise move, Nissan announced that it will offer production versions of its insane Juke-R concept though only on a per-order basis and in a limited supply.
What happens when you scoop a Nissan Juke’s guts out with a mellon baller and replace them with pure testosterone? In case you forgot, it’s the Juke-R.
In an interesting marketing tactic, Ford‘s latest commercial uses an unusual scheme to get attention: it doesn’t mention the brand at all.
Drifting has become an automotive phenomenon around the world with race leagues devoted to the sideways sport, leading drifters to push the limits constantly.
BMW will return to Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) after an almost 20-year absence. To celebrate the occasion, which will occur this weekend, the automaker release a video showing its awesome car running around a track with dramatic music in the background.
Last week we finally got official details on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, despite having known almost everything in advance. Now a series of promotional videos are giving a detailed look at the SUV inside, out and in action.
Given the long list of high-horsepower sports cars available today, it’s easy to forget where the Dodge Viper came from — or more importantly how it came to be.
Possibly one of this year’s most prolific TV commercials, Chrysler’s “Halftime in America” Superbowl ads featuring Clint Eastwood giving a pep talk to the country quickly became a smash hit.
As if either really need extra promotion, Mercedes-Benz recently launched another promotional video for its SL63 and SL65 AMG roadsters.
Built in mere weeks before the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, the Lamborghini Aventador J is nothing if not striking.
With it’s chopped-off roof and tiny windscreens, it’s a hard car to forget. The 700-hp stunner is intimidating to stand next to, let alone drive at speed, yet that’s exactly what the company did in the promo video featured below.
Details first emerged yesterday that a Lamborghini Aventador burnt to a crisp on a Southern California freeway, and now there’s video.
According to reports the car was on a test drive when from a local dealership when the fire began somewhere near the driver’s side rear tire – the Aventador being a mid-engine machine, much of the vehicle’s heat is generated in that area.
The $376,000 V12-powered supercar pulled over on California 73 South, and despite efforts by local fire crews, it burn completely, all the way down to the carbon fiber chassis.
Watch it all unfold below:
It’s not science fiction any more. A company called Terrafugia was on hand at this week’s New York Auto Show, showing off a flying car – with video proof that it both flies and drives.
Actually more of a driving airplane, the Terrafugia team has been working on this car for years, completely revamping a prototype model they built back in 2009.
To find out more about the aptly-named Transition, how it works and what it costs, watch AutoGuide’s first look video below.

We fell in love with the Toyota GT 86 when we first drove it, so how could it get any better? Well, try more than doubling the car’s factory displacement by swapping out the Subaru-sourced 2.0-liter boxer 4-cylinder for a 5.0-liter V8.
Donated from a Lexus IS-F, this custom machine is the ride of choice for Japanese drift and road racer Max Orido, who will compete in the D1 drift series this year.

Human beings are capable of great acts of compassion and selflessness. We’re also all capable of being incredibly idiotic.
Case in point, this example of road rage in Brazil where an altercation between a motorcycle rider and the driver of a small SUV escalates into a near-death experience for at least one of the participants.
Watch and see for yourself below:
Drifting is becoming a worldwide phenomenon, with car enthusiasts yearning to go sideways all over the globe. In this video a driver doing his best Initial D impression comes up a little short.
The driver catches a mound of sand and rolls his car right over. The car is clearly more injured than the driver’s ego, who continues to drive the vehicle past the stunned audience.
Hopefully this will remind viewers that drifting can be a dangerous pass time, and to try and not hit the only sand mound in the vicinity when you have tons of asphalt to have fun on. Just a suggestion.
Check out the video below.
This motorcycle rider isn’t afraid of much, or at least that’s how it seems given his devil-may-care riding style up Mulholland Drive, outside Los Angeles.
The crazy guy repeatedly tips his sidecar-equipped motorcycle onto two wheels in a circus-esque balancing act that could easily end in serious injury. We see the daredevil taking his ride around corners and along straight stretches of road, casually popping the sidecar into the air as if it was common practice.
You can watch the video below, just don’t try this yourself.
