Born out of decades of racing history, including numerous Formula One World Championships, McLaren Automotive was founded in 1989 but didn't introduce its first car until 1992. The 2012-2014 McLaren MP4-12C is being recalled for non-functioning windshield wipers. The recall will only affect MP4-12C sports cars sold or currently registered in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.
