2010 Mazda Cars
Mazda has long been a smaller player in the market, but products like the Mazda3 compact sedan and hatchback, the MX-5 roadster and the RX-8 sports car are instantly recognizable. Other vehicles, like the CX-7 and CX-9 crossovers and the Mazda6 sedan have won critical acclaim but little in the way of sales success. Mazda is the only car company to stick with the rotary engine, and has used it to position itself as a purveyor of sports and affordable cars.
Mazda originally started out producing arms for Japan during WWII, but launched their first car, the R360 in 1960. Mazda’s rotary engines brought the company fame and success, with the RX-7 sports car gaining a substantial following in North America. In 1989, Mazda launched the Miata roadster (now known as the MX-5) which has become the best selling sports car of all time. Mazda’s mainstream products have yet to achieve quite the same success, but a new range of fuel efficient engines and vehicles, branded as SKYACTIV, should help the brand reach their ambitious North American sales targets and match Mazda’s notable success in the rest of the world.

2012 Mazda5 Review
Despite being an all-new model, the 2012 Mazda5 doesn’t get any big changes. Luckily for Mazda they don’t have to try too hard, as the 5 is all alone in the mini-minivan segment. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s one of the best examples of practicality, style and price on the market.
