The 2011 Chevrolet Malibu comes in three different trim levels--LS, LT and LTZ. A 169-hp, 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is standard for all models. It is Flex Fuel-capable, and can run on an E85 ethanol/gasoline blend. A 252-hp, 3.6L V6 with variable valve timing is optional on the LT and LTZ trims. A 6-speed automatic is now standard on all trims. With the 4-cylinder engine, the Malibu achieves respectable fuel-efficiency ratings of 22 mpg city, 33 mpg highway. ...more
