2012 Hyundai Tucson GL Automatic with Bluetooth, cruise control and IPod connectionBy Stuart MacNeill, Sep 4, 2012I have had this CUV for 5 months with no problems or issues. The fuel economy is very good if I keep the speed between 70kph and 80kph or 45-50mph however it is almost impossible to achieve the advertised numbers. The power is there when you need to pass or climb a hill and I do like the 6 speed automatic transmission. I love the look of this car even after using it every day. The trunk space is fine for me but I can see how some might need more. I do think there could be more storage space near the driver. There is a conspicuous black dome on the dash that would make a perfect storage space but it is just for looks. The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone is reliable and intuative, however the voice control sometimes mixes up names like "Mom" and "Home". I did not opt for the iPod cable but my iPhone plays music through Bluetooth beautifully. I must say the brakes are phenomenal. I tested them in the rain and it felt like it stuck out it's claws and dug them in. All in all I am very happy with my Tucson. ...moreLooks. Power. Fuel economy.
