The XJ car comes in three different models--the XJ, the Supercharged and the Supersport, all of which are available in either standard or long wheelbases. The supercharged version features twin air intakes, variable inlet cam timing and the latest Eaton supercharger. The 470-hp version found in the Supercharged XJ will propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds according to Jaguar, while the 510-hp iteration available in the top-line Supersport will do the sprint in just 4.7 seconds. Power in all XJ models is put to the rear wheels through an electronic 6-speed automatic transmission with Jaguar's sequential shift which adapts to driving styles and shifts at optimum engine speeds. Gears can also be shifted manually using steering wheel-mounted paddles. ...more
