2012 Jeep Cars
Jeep was founded after World War II and had a number of owners before being acquired by Chrysler in 1987. Jeep currently markets the Compass and Patriot crossovers, the Liberty and Grand Cherokee SUVs and the iconic Wrangler.
Jeep’s heritage can be traced back to World War II, producing vehicles made by U.S. servicemen. The original Jeep serves as the inspiration for today’s Jeep Wrangler, which can be had with two or four doors and either a hardtop or soft top. Jeep also sells the Grand Cherokee SUV, the smaller Liberty SUV and the Compass and Patriot crossovers, marketed at those who don’t need quite as much off-road prowess.
