Warming up to this oneBy Claudia, Apr 19, 2013I admit that I was initially apprehensive when my husband told me my next car was going to be a Cadillac. He's always insisted on the Mercedes e class wagon, but after dealing with how expensive the service appointments were I think he'd finally had enough. Anyway, I found the CTS wagon to be really ugly on the outside and I still do. I think the back lights are an eye sore and the front end is pretty ugly too. But we got the luxury trim and I decided I was ok with driving it after I sat in one. There's lots of room for me to put all my shopping bags in the back. The biggest problem compared to the mercedes for me is that I find the rear window is a little harder to see out of when I'm backing up. I keep bumping into things when I'm trying to reverse, and its a little frustrating. The mercedes didn't have the angled rear window, so I had a better sense of exactly where I was. I don't like using the camera either. It just doesn't feel natural to me. Other than that, the interior is gorgeous and I feel like it's my little escalade! ...morenice inside, lots of room for stuff
